The plane of shadow, also called the Ebon Tides, is known for its chaos. The dark forests, black rivers, and the tall and snowy mountains are fundamentally different from the material plane. This is for many reasons. The fey that inhabit the Ebon Tides are sinister, and the politics of the many fey courts can be confusing to travelers from the material plane. The dark woods are full of wonderful and impossible fairy tale creatures, and many legends told to children on the material plane seemingly come true here. But most of all, the world moves. The mountains and the rivers and the grasslands shift on the Ebon tides over the course of weeks, months or years. A mountain with a path that leads to a dark forest one year might lead to a snowy ice sheet the next. The landscape is constantly shifting as the shadows of the realm swirl about like a dark ocean. So civilization has created shadow roads. Magical paths that connect places like a raft to prevent them from drifting away on the Ebon Tides. These shadow roads are made and repaired by the fey and other creatures that inhabit the shadow realm.
But something has been happening lately. The minor fey courts have started to muster their armies as someone new is attempting to rise to power. And it’s your characters (who are probably natives of the Ebon tides, as the shadows corrupt those who are from the material and who stay there for too long) who need to stop whoever is causing this chaos.
i’m still working on the storyline, but that’s the basics! If you are interested then I can provide more details.

It kinda depends, I haven’t really come to a decision. What are you planning, maybe we could work something out?
I don't have any plans yet, but whenever I have the option to be in the Feywild, I desperately want to inject the (objectively) worse plane into it. Perhaps a Debauched Knight from Gloomwrought?
That could work! We would need a reason for them being in the Ebon tides, but that’s easy. People use the shadow roads as shortcuts to places on the material plane too, and if they get lost then there’s a good chance they’ll be stuck in the Ebon Tides for a while.

Yep. The local library offered some cooking stuff a year back with Polish food and I got a nice recipe. (Plus I've got some Polish blood in me so it's nice to tap into that. Not to mention basically anytime I learn something about Poland it seems to always fill me with ancestral pride.)

Yep. The local library offered some cooking stuff a year back with Polish food and I got a nice recipe. (Plus I've got some Polish blood in me so it's nice to tap into that. Not to mention basically anytime I learn something about Poland it seems to always fill me with ancestral pride.)
Do you do the fold over ones or the circle ones?
Foldovers. My aunt is making the dough upstairs as we speak — same recipe her grandmother used way back then. It’s a point of pride for her, and most of the older generation for that matter. Not so much for me, since there’s like five generations between me and my Czech ancestors, but I gotta admit they’re really tasty.

Just have to say tho that this is a spookier version of the feywilds and Eladrin don’t really have any civilizations there, like there’s some of them because it’s the feywild, but the dominant race are shadow fey, which are like elves with horns and basically replace the Eladrin in the Ebon tides. But you can play as an Eladrin if you want. I can also provide the stats for the shadow fey.
