By no means! History isn't worthless! It is a treasure trove of story ideas and artistic inspiration. It informs you on how to act today. History allows you to learn from others mistakes and successes. History allows you to understand the world you live in better and makes you a better person.
You get as much out of school as you put into it.
Darn it, my old grandpa nature took control again.
History is useful to help understand where we come from. It's part of learning about the tapestry of life, what our stories are. I see history both as a way of warning not to repeats its mistakes, but also a source of pride for where humanity has triumphed.
True, but Hamilton is the only history reallllllllly worth learning.

Hi all, I'm Druid_Girl31, but please call me Druid. I am (a/an) CERTIFIED INSOMNIAC, PAN, alterhuman,BADDD DM, and obsessed with HAMILTON! Why? I'm just cool like that!
You play Dnd which means you like stories. It is full of inspiration and ideas. It also helps you to generally understand the world you live in better. Nothing you learn is useless, it always builds your character.

Disagree. My Polish heritage swells with pride whenever I think of the Winged Hussars at the Battle of Vienna.
Did you know there was a war in Japan fought by a bunch of monks with guns against an army led by a giant African samurai?
Did you know Harriet Tubman had narcolepsy, which meant she would randomly fall asleep standing up at any given time and when she woke up she often claimed to have had prophetic visions?
Did you know a country songwriter accidentally caused an entire state to believe that dog headed men were lurking in the woods so they all went out hunting for the monsters?
Did you know an Olympic track runner gave up all his fame and fortune to go and live in China to help the people there during one of the World Wars and ended up spending the rest of his life in a prison camp where he died?
Did you know that in Germany a bunch of young folks fought the Nazis by dancing to Swing music?
Did you know that a headless horseman terrorized Texas for a while before people found out it was a war criminal's decapitated corpse tied to a horse?
All of this is awesome information and my life is so much better for knowing it.

Nuclear. Gandhi.
Fun fact, the Nuclear Gandhi glitch isn't real, still loved the world round though.
Still doesn't negate a project I enjoyed.
In one of my CS courses, each week we'd have something new to make with Arduino and wire it up. One of the weeks was to use 3 lightbulbs to make something that could count in binary. We were given latitude on what to do when adding to 7 or subtracting from 0 on if we wanted overflow or to just not do anything. I went the overflow/underflow route.
I'd already been telling some friends about Nuclear Gandhi. So I was like, "Hey you know that thing I told you about? I'VE GOT A VISUAL NOW!!!" So made a couple bulbs light up and then was like, "4, 3, 2, 1, 0, Gandhi!"
Also I know there's people that say Nuclear Gandhi isn't real and that it's just people noticing more when Gandhi had nukes. But I reject that reality and substitute my own because it's far more enjoyable.
Self Portrait Facing Death depicts a man who knows that death is near but hesitates not in confronting it head-on. It remains an essential piece within Picasso’s vast collection of works highlighting themes such as life, love, loss and fear – all concepts particularly relevant during one’s final days.
Meep!
No news is good news…
I'll lay a white rose on the cold earth, knowing it that it has not claimed your soul.
Yeah but how am I going to use it?
What's life without a little war to spice things up? Anyone who worries about the little things should notice the bigger picture.

Exactly! Hasn't your life been improved by the knowledge of the leech obsessed Barber Surgeons of old?
Improved could be the word for it, I'd go with changed though.

It’s Pablo Picasso’s Self-Portrait Facing Death, completed less than a year before his passing.
