Cool! I like ham
absolutely wonderful, plotting a book I will likely never write about a newly born shapeshifting spider monster person who was just born from the shedded skin of another spider monster, which consumed his soul when he was a human. He only remembers stuff like his name, certain skills he had in life, and also some new information like: he has to eat humans, and he can charm people easily and stuff.
So he just wakes up in an abandoned house, and at the start is mostly confused. His upper half is human so it’s like a Drider by the way. But after he starts to like figure out what’s happening, he’s gonna have to balance between trying to do good because he’s gonna feel conflicted and want to learn about his past life and stuff, and learn about people he knew before he became a monster. however, some things I already have sorted out about this type of monster and stuff, they can turn into their previous human forms, their shedded skins animate and seek other humans to devour, creating more of them, and they can only gain sustenance from eating humans. They can eat other stuff but it won’t give them any nutritional value. So conflict, Because he has to eat other people or starve!
I don’t usually write them down, but I like the one I just came up with a lot so I’m gonna try and write about it. I often gain inspiration from listening to songs. This particular idea came from me listening to Apex predator from the mean girls musical. I don’t know how that worked, but it did!
Ooh I like that name, Anansi is one of the coolest mythological figures. I was gonna give them a more normal name because they used to be a normal guy but now I kinda like that name.
oh and in life they could play the banjo so they still play the banjo even when they’re a spider

i know first chapter is just him being desperately confused, second I think he finds a mirror and is also still confused, but don’t know exactly what for third and fourth. As I’ve said before, he wakes up transformed in an abandoned house, wrecked due to being attacked by the shedded skin husk. It used to be his house, probably.
