It was fun though. Got two of the guys together. Silly shenanigans ensued. The cleric round a nat-20 on inflict wounds which had the barb-player shocked when I said, "Okay. Roll 6d10." :D
And the barb player had fun too. He got to use his strength and bonk some heads. Also helped him out with understanding some mechanics. (I think we've got a to-be dual wielding lover in the making. Thinking to tell him about the Dual Wielder feat since he might like that and we're planning to grant a free feat anyways.)

Also learned more about the nuances of DDB. The barbarian decided he wanted a DDB sheet for his character. I edited his character so he could have Path of the Totem Warrior but then we found out Beast Sense from the Spirit Seeker feature wasn't working. Though it might just be an issue with doing the editing that way without content sharing and so I claimed his character, moved it into a content-sharing campaign I know of, saw Beast Sense in the spell list, and then brought it back to him.
Beast Sense was gone. (What!?)
So I decided to hot-fix it with a custom feat to give him ritual casting of Beast Sense.
Still doesn't work!
Finally I homebrew-copied Beast Sense. Used the copied Beast Sense as the spell in the hot-fix feat. And THAT finally worked.

1 killed by the warlock at the door 1 killed by an opportunity attack from an iron consul after the civilian escaped from the barbarian's grapple (barb wanted to use him as a human shield) and was trying to run away 9 killed by enemy monsters as potshots during the course of battle
