Decided to try growing stevia, thyme, and mint this year in my garden. Gonna be interesting. Got an idea of what to do with each, but never grown them before and using them will be a way of making me use some new recipes too. Though the thyme I'll probably just use as a fresh version of thyme in a Danish pork patty recipe I've got.

I'm not sure what's specifically Danish about them to be honest. But the recipe is fairly simple,
2lbs ground pork
4t thyme
1.5t garlic powder
1T onion powder
1.5-2C panko crumbs
3 eggs
panko bread crumbs
Mix the pork, spices, and panko bread crumbs together. Make patties out of them. (Thin and small, like the circumference of a McDonald's burger or so but a little thicker. I can get ~13 out of this.) Then dip them in the egg and put a layer of panko bread crumbs on them.
Fry in a pan for like 2-3 minutes on each side. (Figure out what it takes for you to get a temperature of 145f. Gotta get the pork cooked.)
You can also substitute the onion powder for 1/4 of an onion finely minced.
Goes well with egg noodles and brown gravy.

I've made it before. It's good. The variation I'll be doing is using fresh thyme instead of ground thyme.
