Not really much coming to mind. Don't think there's any thrown great weapons unless you're already a Path of the Giant. So hard to combine that with GWM.

Forgot paladin smites. SMITE WITH JAVELIN! And then get Thrown-Weapon fighting style for the combination with this new smite strategy. Combine with Sharpshooter to give you 120 smite range without disadvantage.
