In a tweet by Jeremy Crawford, we learnt that the changeling can get a +3 to charisma. Now that Tasha's released and we are told we can swap abilities around, does that mean I can use the changeling to get a +3 Strength or Intelligence? Is this OP? What do you think? (also, can someone ask the devs on twitter)
edit: As was helpfully explained by Stormknight, this is not possible without homebrew. My reason for thinking this was that my copy was from before the change and I still thought it was possible for +3 (I'll still allow it for my players). Secondly, that was why I was asking. I read the part in Tasha's that said you couldn't add more than one increase to a single stat. My out of date brain thought, "well they did it for the changeling, so why the hell should that stop me?"
Since CHA is arguably better than INT and definitely better than STR, this is not any more 'OP' than it already was. If a changeling can reshape its body, why not make some big ol muscles?

As my username suggests, I was quite unaware.
The tweet you refer to was superseded by more recent errata.

Similar is true with the rules presented in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything:

Oof. I look like a fool now. Still, thanks for telling me and my disappointed wizard.
You can also use the Versatile option, put a +2 into an ASI, then choose a +1 ASI feat.
Also in general, do not accept tweets as "RAW"
There are the books, then official Errata, then Sage Advice, and finally tweets for when you got nothing else.
And DM's Fiat over-rides all of it.
