Personally hoping the 2024 rules allows them to make a Gnoll Species. Since alignment is no longer restricted much.. Hopefully they'll add playable gnolls in the future to the edition. Also never got Radiant Citadel before, missed that thing, so glad that was in the '24 advent calendar.
BTW, if you go back a couple pages in this thread, you'll find links to all of the current free claimables plus more (likely everything else they will post over the next couple weeks). No CC necessary.
Stuff I posted last year, I don't know if it all still works. D:
Omg. So there's finally a couple things I missed in the past but I can't claim them anyways cause their checkout is broken again. Clicking "Next: Payment" depresses the button and does nothing on mobile lol
Hah! And I just noticed - check out my profile pic, "broken image" - I've never set one. So the default "this user hasn't set a profile pic" pic is broken now too. How do they keep breaking this site so much?
FYI, I had the same problem with the 'payment' I had to re-enter my address. It's set to select a State by default and it always reset.
do dnd beyond realise that less people are likely to interact with their stuff if a digital, non physical thing i cant even own irl costs money or needs my address to redeem? i OWN the players handbook, why do i need to buy another i cant even hold just so i can digitally play as an eladrin?
sad to see this also spreads to christmas shit. i dont have enough money for all this, are you insane? im not going to pay money/give my address to a site i rarely even use just so i get pretty dice that i probably already have. seriously, beyond? beyond, my ass.
Heads up to everyone that the Larian (BG3) calendar is up again this year. Last year they gave away soundtrack files & sheet music mostly, if I recall. (Things people didn't/wouldn't have) Lol. You generally do a little puzzle each day then get a holiday story snippet. Last year's was about a creature in a cave learning the meaning of Christmas, this year's seems to be a take on Dickens Christmas Carol with Minthara as Scrooge in the goblin camp 😂

Well, it was not advertised on the main site, and it's gone already. Beside the very clunky and cumbersome way to "purchase" the free stuff, it was pretty much not interesting.
The only new things I got were 2 sets of dice and 2 scenarios... Furthermore they still haven't unified the licenses screen on our account on dndbeyond and the purchase history on the marketplace. Free stuff I "purchased" are accessible to me but are still not showing on my account on dndbeyond...
I am not a fan of the needed card info at all. But I do like the yule dice a lot! ^^
Edit: Would really like to see simple stuff too in the future for character sheets. Like border colors or backgrounds. :3
I'm mostly waiting for the Gnoll Species to be playable in the new variant of dnd. One can always hope, though I'm not entirely certain they'll ever do that officially.
I just want a playable dog/canine race. Maybe we can bring back the lupin from AD&D (the 3.5 Dragon Compendium had it too). I doubt it'd be allowed to keep its original lore for hating and hunting werewolves, but you never know. There were so many "subraces" too, so I'd be curious if it got the lineage/legacy treatment like elf/tiefling, or ancestry treatment of the goliath.
Do a lot of DMs not allow homebrew? D:
Omg. I can't find the stuff anymore. Did they literally take it down the SECOND 12 days were up??? What items were the last few days?
Noooo it's generally unbalanced all to hell, a lot of 3rd party stuff too. It's one thing if the DM homebrews a magic item or spell or adds a new race for a homebrew campaign setting, but when a player walks up and is like "I want to play this homebrew race/subclass" that's generally at least an orange flag that they're potentially a problem player
Yes, it seems fully gone less than 24h after the last item was disclosed. It was a new set of dice that I forgot to claim in time as well.
Maybe next year.
Some people just complained the whole time, so maybe that was why it was not up for very long.
Oh, both my dms let us all homebrew as long as they approve it. I had no idea that was a thing, thanks for letting me know. ^^
Aww man that sucks. They do look nice but don't do anything fancy and they kinda sound like rubber balls when they hit the paper. If that makes you feel any better.
