All of these characters are 'complete', meaning that I can view their character sheet without getting the prompt to complete the character builder.
When I try to join a campaign, I see 12 options:
2 are in a campaign, assigned to me (greyed out)
10 are not in any campaign (which I can select)
The characters that are in another campaign, but unassigned, do not show up. They should probably show up greyed out, but that's a preference, not a problem. The 5 that are not in any campaign that do not show up are the problem. I do not see any pattern in the characters that do and don't show up. So far I've checked the following:
There is no pattern in creation date, character level or character configuration (page 0 of the character builder) that I can discern
At least one of the characters that doesn't show up only uses SRD content, and some of the characters that do show up use all sorts of content, even some homebrew
Creating a different campaign from my own account, the same issue presents.
Having this issue now. No way to add a previously created character to a new campaign if they don't show up in that selected list. It'd be one thing if it removed the greyed out characters to make room for your unassigned characters, but that doesn't even work.
The characters that do not appear seem to have a pattern by creation date, but not quite. Number 1. is the most recently created character, the others are the oldest characters, except that the oldest character is actually in the list (number 12). This can also be seen from the character id's. Both the Join Campaign list and the My Characters are sorted by date added by default. There is no pattern based on modification date, either.
I haven't listed the characters that do not appear on account of being unassigned in a campaign, as we've already found that as the cause for those characters.
I'm having this same problem and there doesn't seem to be an answer. Do I just need to recreate each character in the "Join a Campaign" screen? That doesn't seem right...

Hello, are the missing characters currently in other campaigns, or Deactivated?
I just noticed this issue, and for my campaign the issue was several of the character sheets were set as 'private'. Changing them to 'public' made them visible.
I'm having this issue with some characters that were in a previous campaign that I deleted. All the characters are set as public, so that is not the issue.

Did you delete the campaign before you removed the characters?
I have 24 characters in my account, of which

Can you post the full url links to some of the characters that don't show up? The mods could take a look and see if they can figure it out.

The five characters that are not currently appearing-- Do they share the same name as any of your other characters?
They do not. For completeness, the following characters appear:

Any updates on this?
Hi there gnotisauton, my apologies for the delay. I am going to DM you, as I'm going to need a bit more information from you. :)

Hello, are the missing characters currently in other campaigns, or Deactivated?
I had the same problem and I managed to work around it by just making a copy of each of the missing characters sheets and add those.
Thank you! I've just today been having this problem and your workaround helped me too, thanks!
