I have a player who's character has chosen the Guild Artisan / Guild Merchant background. Whatever language they chose under the background does not show up on their character sheet. I've messed around with it, trying several different combinations and no matter what I do, the language from the background does not show up on the character sheet, however their racial language choice does. 

Is it a homebrewed copy of the background?

No, it's the normal background, not a homebrew.

Are you comfortable with posting a link to their character sheet, so that someone like a mod could take a look at it?

(I just checked with one of my characters, and giving them "Guild Artisan / Guild Merchant", and the language showed up fine under proficiencies.)

It looks to me like they chose Infernal

I feel stupid, I was looking in the wrong spot, under Features and Traits. That explains why it only said goblin.
