I recently noticed that a couple "add-on" races I purchased individually (fairy, plasmoid) are missing the parts during character creation for their ability score increases and an additional language as racial traits. The only hint I have is that the character creator points to Tasha's Cauldron of Everything (which I don't have in its entirety on DNDBeyond), as follows:
"This race follows the new options for character creation first introduced in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. You'll be able to customize options like ability score increases, languages and alignment as you continue building your character. If you need suggestions, ask your DM!"
But, neither of the races mention Tasha's as a requisite in their respective listings or when having purchased their content. And neither of the races are from Tasha's, either. But they still say quite clearly that those are racial traits they're supposed to get. And further it only mentions these parts as being "first introduced" by Tasha's, not "exclusive to" or "requiring". So as far as I can tell they should get them regardless of whether I have Tasha's.
Moreover, if I create a homebrew copy of one of the races with no changes, those options show up instantly and without issue. So I kind of have to assume this is some sort of bug. Anyone have any idea about this?
All races and subraces since TCoE came out have moved their ability score section from the Race tab to the Abilities tab. Languages have moved from the Race tab to the Description tab.

The ASIs are moved to the page where you set your ability scores and the languages were moved to the page where you pick your background.

Thanks! Can't say I like the inconsistency (especially when other races or a homebrew copy doesn't have it), but that solves it!
