Firstly I just want to say I absolutely love D&D Beyond and have used it to really streamline the way I game with my local gaming group (having been surrounded by my character sheets, notes and spell cards up until now).
However, I have come up against a couple of issues while playing that I think other gamers may also encounter.
As a life cleric I have noticed that 2 of my features are not readily accessible / obvious...
1. The ‘Disciple of Life’ feature allowing a bonus to healing spells is not linked to the healing spells and does not display obviously when playing. This has resulted in me coming up short on my healing values on a number of occasions. Is there any way of linking this healing ‘boost’ to the corresponding spell modifiers when casting? Alternatively, can this information display somewhere more obvious so that my lack of memory becomes less of an issue in the heat of battle?
2. The ‘Channel Divinity: Preserve Life’ ability feels almost completely hidden. Is there a way of linking it to the ‘limited use’ section? The ‘Channel Divinity’ ability is listed within the ‘limited use’ section but only details the ‘Turn Undead’ feature. Can ‘Preserve Life’ be detailed here also?
Hey there, I'm not sure if this works with healing spells, but with Attacks I use the customize feature to factor in additional bonuses. Might be something to consider. Also it helps to put things that are hidden into your character's "Notes" section. That way you can see it at least, which reminds you to look it up. Not a perfect solution, by any means, but I was using that on a Shadow Monk that also suffers from "hidden features" issues.
The deluxe character sheet revamp, which is expected sometime this month, is expected to fix this.
I thought they didn't give a date in the last development update? Did I miss a tweet or something?
The last I heard, they were planning to have it out sometime this quarter, which, according to the person I got to explain it to me, means January, February, or March. This is March, so this month.

Unfortunately for everyone who really wants the updated character sheet (like me) "It's ready when it's ready"
Fortunately for all of us though, this means that the staff team are only releasing it once it's fully completed and working, rather than pushing out something unfinished with a bunch of bugs, just to meet a deadline.
For now, we'll just need to wait, but shouldn't be long. :)

I am very glad and impressed D&D Beyond is taking this approach.
I was wondering if there was at least any update on this topic. I just noticed this today as well (the Life Domain issue), and thankfully there's already a post about it. Any chance we can hear from the devs or some kind of community liason to let us know that it's still being worked on?

Thanks. That serves as a good workaround.
Hopefully an update will address this at some point but your idea will certainly help me out in the meantime.

It was expected first quarter, it looks almost done as of last Friday, but there's only 8 days left in March.

Any updates on that?

Hello, it seems even with the character sheet revampavailable now tthis is not yet working (healing bonus does not show up for me).
is this considered a bug or a not yet implemented feature?
bump? For a cleric friend!
It's something that I'd like working too! One of my characters is a grumpy dwarf life domain cleric (always having to heal the careless people).
I'll see if I can get an update.
