I have a Multiclass Ranger 6 / Priest Cleric (Life Domain) Character - very Playable - I play it as a Master Inquisitor Lawful Evil with Haunted background. And still strong build, even if not a "power build".
But, I struggle with the Multiclass Spell Tables. According to Manual I could have up to 4th level of clerical spells and up 2th of Ranger one. I have only up 2th level of Both with D&D Beyond and I can't understand why. Could you help me, please ?
Keep in mind that spell slots are independent of spell levels. You didn't list your Cleric levels, but if you have fewer than 5 then you do not get access to 3rd level spells yet. However, you will have higher level slots to cast your spells with. This means you can upcast something like cure wounds at level 3 to make it more powerful.
A Cleric 4/Druid 4 will have the same slots as a Cleric 8, but it will only have access to spells up to level 2 because it has no class higher than level 4. It is a little messier with half-casting classes, but the same concept.
Circle of Stars druid with a 1-level dip in Life Cleric. Both subclasses enhance your healing spells (Chalice Constellation and Disciple of Life). Healing won't be your only capability though, as Circle of Stars also boosts your damage (Archer), or your concentration control spells (Dragon). A one-level dip in cleric won't hurt your druid spellcasting very much, as its only one level and both classes are full spellcasters. Basically, any class or subclass that can heal will benefit from multiclassing into Life Cleric. You can do the same with Divine Soul Sorcerer or Circle of The Sheperd druid. As a Sheperd Druid, your improved healing abilities will allow you to keep your summons alive for longer, therefore allowing you to deal more damage to the enemy. As a Divine Soul Sorcerer, you can twin your healing spells, and reroll bad rolls. This allows you to squeeze every last centimeter of value out of every spell slot. With your spell slots being worth more, you won't need to spend as much spell slots on healing. This saves more of your spell slots for more exciting stuff, like damage and control spells. You can also Subtle Spell your healing spells, preventing an enemy mage from counterspelling them. Personally, I would go with druid if I were multiclass into Life Cleric.

Hope that makes sense.
