I'm a very skeptical and highly critical person. If I think something is unfair or unethical or wrong, I'll say so, and damn the consequences. But equally, if something deserves praise, I'll say so as well. I've been very critical of DDB but also praised it where I thought it was due. Now that all phases of the beta are currently live and we've seen how the developers have worked on the project in response to feedback and criticism, I have, barring any major issues like pricing not being what I expect, made up my mind about whether or not I'll be subscribing when the beta ends.
Have you?

I was very cautious about the pricing and while I think the full books are slightly more expensive than I wanted them to be, I'll still probably buy the core rules and some of the other stuff, although if there are sales or pre-purchase discounts, I might end up getting them all.

Even before the beta launched (and we first heard about Beyond as rumours on the interwebz), this was looking like a platform that would interest me. The ability to search across multiple books and find information is something that slows down my sessions.
Price to me is a non issue. Yes I earn enough to pay for this, and I understand that there are some people nowhere near as fortunate as I when it comes to throwing money at a hobby. To me I'm paying not for the content but the medium in which I use it. I've been using beyond the last couple of months in my games and I can tell you I've save hours of time that would have been spent looking up stuff.
Is Beyond going to be the same for everyone? Of course not. But I think Curse staff are the right ones to develop something that will be useful for as many people as possible. We've all seen how they listen to feedback during Beta and how Beyond has evolved since that Phase 1 launch.
Man I'm at the beginning(ish) of a CoS campaign, this will make my life SO much easier. Like Sorce, I'm fortunate enough to look at the price and go, "yeah no worries", but even the DM subscription, it's $1.50 a week... don't have a cup of coffee a week and you're probably saving money. If you've got a group of 6 people, and everyone throws in $10, then your group has all the core material. Just ease back on snacks? haha
I'll purchase content I want, but not a subscription at this point--this should be an option on the poll above. I'm glad the subscription is there for those who need/want it, but I'm also glad it's not required.
I've never cared a fig for WotC's official adventure modules, so the week 1 discounted price on the 3 core books plus the regularly-priced Volo's seems fair enough for all I'll want initially. I consider the databased format and integration into character builder and (eventually?) encounter builder to be well worth the cost above the hardcover books I already own, and it'll be a relief to stop having to rely on Google sheets to have my players' character sheets easily accessible to me.
Probably not subbing, at least until the campaign manager is revamped -- for me right now there just isn't a need for anything included in the subs. If my players want to pay for it, to share the content I buy that's fine, but there really isn't a campaign manager yet and a reason for me to get my players on to dnd beyond, so no reason for me to pay for the sub features. I really hope the ads on the site aren't super invasive and flashy/annoying like other sites. I can deal with some ads, but I hate popups that make me wait 10 seconds when loading a page (looking at you roll20, you aren't even giving me an ad, you are literally just making me wait 5 seconds longer to load a dungeon because I don't pay you), or videos that constantly loop/stream (even when you stop them, they just reload).
I will be buying the 3 core books at the discounted rate and probably SCAG as I own that and currently run my games using those resources, the compendium/searching alone to me is worth it. So much easier/faster than paging through three different books when preparing for and even playing the game as a DM. I don't yet own a physical copy of Volo's but that's next on the list, and will likely buy the digital around the same time I buy that. I also however have a "gaming" budget I account for with my monthly bills and such, and having a month's notice of the cost and date will help me (no spending this month and next month won't be an issue for those 4 books).
As far as adventure modules, I'm not sure I'll buy them at all. I own the starter set and PotA, but I'm not sure I see the benefit of the online compendium yet. Maybe if the starter set is cheaper than the other modules I'll buy that as a "trial" to see what the adventure details look like in full, and how/if it will benefit me as a DM.
