Before the interface change, I was able to add a regular common potion of healing. Today I selected Add Item, clicked the Potion button, and filtered for "heal" and all I got were uncommon ("greater") and higher. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Also, how do I add a scroll of identify? I figured out how to add a level 1 scroll, but not how to indicate what spell it casts.
I don't know why, but they have potion of healing listed as gear, yet the higher iteration healing potions are listed as potions. I think its always been this way because I remember for years now saying to myself why is it so difficult to find the regular potion of healing.
As for the scrolls, you would have to add to the item's notes, or change the scroll's name, to reflect what spell is on the scroll.
Click on the item in your inventory. It should appear in the sidebar. There's a line in the sidebar that says 'Customize.' Click that, and a dropdown opens where you can overwrite the name field, and add notes to the notes field. The notes field appears in the table in your items tab, so lengthy notes (like the whole description) may be too unwieldy.
If you don’t mind doing a little bit of extra work and really want your scrolls to come out as useful as possible, here’s a link to a walkthrough I wrote on how to set them up in the homebrewer: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/d-d-beyond-feedback/5828-spell-scrolls-in-inventory?comment=28). It takes about 2-3 minutes per scroll to create them, but they come out pretty good and really are as functional as possible in the character sheets.

The regular potion of healing is listed in gear because it's in the 'other adventuring gear' table in the PHB.

Thanks for the replies. Between you, you answered my questions!
How do I edit the notes or rename the scroll?

Thanks! That worked! (Also noticed the pencil icon next to the name after the side panel opened.)
