I am attempting to create a custom feat just for personal use that mimics the use of wildshape and updates my actual character with the desired stats. Not sure if everything is possible but am currently testing to see what is.
It seems that any modifiers and options that have had from when I first created it are not being updated. Everything else from what i can tell is updating fine. I have tested changing Name, Description, Options, Modifiers, Spells and Actions. It seems that all those others update fine with a simple refresh of a character sheet after saving the feat.
However I have tried everything to get modifiers and options to update. Thing even stay around after I have removed them from the feat. Thing i have tired to get it to update: refreshing my character sheet, removing and readding the feat, closing and opening the sheet, trying with different feats, using different characters that have never had the feat, clearing my cache, restarting my computer, using a different computer and every combination of the above i could think of. The only thing that has been able to work instantly is making a brand new feat and using the old homebrew one as a base. When i have duplicated it the new duplicate works exactly as expected however if i do it that way and want to test a feature i have to make a new copy every time and will end up with so many duplicates.
There is a caching issue. Make changes. Save. Wait about 20 minutes and check. The updates should then be applied. Some say logging out and back in might help too.

The system only picks up your changes when you hit the main save button for the whole homebrew. Any time you change anything you must hit that main save. After that, it can take up to 15 minutes for all the changes to push to your character sheet.
If that still hasn’t worked, then it might be the caching issue. So that’s when to try logging out and back in to clear the server’s internal cache. Then wait another 15 minutes for everything to catch up with itself.

The feat is not public but, for any mods, the feat that I am currently trying to test with is this https://www.dndbeyond.com/feats/296883-wildshape-test

To expand on Cyb3r’s comments:
