I have a Bard, level 9, I have toggled the optional class features to on, but none of the optional Bard class features, such as Magical Inspiration, show up. It says:
"You currently have no available optional class features for this class
Unlock all official options in the Marketplace or create them for Homebrew Subclasses."
Does this mean I have to purchase the whole Source book for the optional class features? I don't see an individual listing in the marketplace for only optional class features.
I searched the thread and saw many others had this issue, but no posts with a solution to this issue.
Yes, you have to purchase the entire sourcebook to unlock the optional class features.
There is a way to turn it "off" or "on" when neded?
The mechanical effects of Bladesong are not yet supported for the sheet and it's effects are therefore not represented on the sheet. If you are seeing the effects on your character sheet being applied then you are using homebrew.
There is no way to toggle this feature as a built in thing, since the effects of Bladesong are not yet supported by D&D Beyond. You will have to create homebrew to manage the effects.
I recommend making a homebrew ring, make it artifact rarity so it's always at the top of the sheet, and replicate the effects of Bladesong using modifiers. When you want to use it, equip the ring and the effects are applied. When not in use, unequip ring and the effects disappear. This is a good way for making many temporary effects as toggles, such as mage armour.

Just found a bug relating to the Customize Your Origin toggle switch in the character builder:
If you have this option toggled on and have a homebrew race that does not have a Short Description, the "Change Race" link is unable to be clicked. Turning off the Customize Your Origin toggle allows for the race to be changed as normal. Homebrew races with a Short Description are exempt from this functionality. The presence or absence of Replacement traits doesn't affect this at all.
Steps to reproduce: Create a homebrew race, leaving the Short Description field blank. Create a character with that homebrew race, toggle on the Customize Your Origin feature in the character builder.

Holy carpmageddon, that's a great idea! Somebody should plaster this on the front page of the forums.

Should my artificer's infused weapon be using INT instead of the weapon's usual stat for attack and damage? I added the Enhanced Weapon infusion to my artificer's warhammer and now the character sheet seems to be using my INT instead of STR modifier for the rolls, but I can't find a rule anywhere that indicates the infusion would change the ability used. Is this a bug or just a rule I didn't know about?

I found this in another thread a while ago, but no evidence the staff ever saw it.
From my testing, it's not just a having a short description, but a reasonably long short description i.e., more than a single word, or a few characters.
We are aware - this is not an issue with the Customize Origin toggle, but the spacing itself of the Race page and the location of the Change Race link. Homebrew races without a Short Description will run into issues, this can be resolved by adding a short description to the homebrew race.
I have a level 5 Artificer Alchemist character but the level 3 and 5 alchemist spells weren't showing up in my character sheet. I bought the Alchemist sub class and spells content (although not the full Tasha content as we already have a copy of the book) and Ray of sickness and melf's acid arrow have now appeared but not healing word and flaming sphere. Can someone please help?

A level 5 artificer only has level 2 spells. They don't have level 3's until 9th and no level 5 spells until 17th.
They are not full casters.
SabrinaGleam is specifically referencing the spells granted at Artificer levels 3 and 5, as listed in the Alchemist Spells subclass feature of the Alchemist (level 1 and 2 spells, respectively).
Can you post a link to the character sheet, SabrinaGleam?
Hi there, I checked the character sheet fully and everything is functioning correctly - the optional features are selected and are showing on the character sheet correctly.
What you've described sounds like you're seeing something different to what the website is sending, so please check the following:
Are you running any browser extensions that might be modifying the character sheet in any way? Please try disabling them, or logging in with a different browser.
Are you using VPN software? Some VPN security software (NordVPN does this) blocks legitimate website data from being displayed. Try disabling it.
Hi @StormKnight, I'm still having the same problems with my character sheet as before, nothing seems to have changed. The Blessed Strikes and Harness Divine Power are working well enough to use with Roll20, even if their descriptions are not fully there. But what I'm really missing are the new spells. As a reminder, I've got the spells that already existed but have now been added to the cleric list (e.g. Aura of Vitality), but the two brand new spells are missing (Spirit Shroud and Summon Celestial).
I've tried disabling all my Chrome extensions, accessing it in Incognito mode, accessing DNDBeyond on different browsers and on different devices, and they all consistently produce the same problem. So my guess is that it's a problem with my account or something else on your end. Any more ideas on what to do?
To add to this, I've also tried it on the official D&D Beyond player companion app on Android, and the exact same problem is happening there as well. I really think the problem is at your end, guys, and this lack of a fix or support is wearing quite thin.

Hey there -
I took a look at your posted character sheet, and it looks like this character has Summon Celestial prepared, and when I check your character sheet from my side, Spirit Shroud appears with the other cleric spells. I would recommend reaching out to our support team to get a better idea of what's going on with your account - https://dndbeyond.link/SubmitTicket
Yes I currently have Summon Celestial prepared because my DM can do that for me, but as soon as I un-prepare it it disappears. Spirit Shroud also doesn't appear unless my DM prepares it for me.
Yes, you have to purchase the entire sourcebook to unlock the optional class features.
Ugh. Ok. Thanks for the response.
Warlock spells from Tasha's expanded spell list are not all showing up. In particular Teleportation Circle and Mislead which are both from the PHB.
This hasn’t been updated since February?
They are an OCF (optional class feature) included in Tasha's.

EDIT: I'd forgot about the Battle Ready feature
Are you a Battle Smith? The Battle Ready feature lets you use INT for attacks with magic weapons.
