Not everyone wants to stare at their phone/tablet while playing TABLETOP games.
If you are going to cut content from physical books to bolster your crappy digital media platform, at least give those that want to play on the table the option to print it out.
I would rather PAY for this content then use it for free digitally.
This would be feedback better given to WotC directly. D&D Beyond has never offered PDFs and doesn't have any plans to do so. WotC has historically offered free content via PDF, such as Unearthed Arcana and the Monstrous Compendium Volume 1, but has chosen not to with the Vecna Dossier or Spelljammer Academy.
If you want to print it out, you can do so from D&D Beyond still. While it may not be optimised for printing, it's still possible.
If you do not want to use the services offered on DDB and would like printable PDF so that you can have a physical copy, why not just buy the books?
I will be buying the Spelljammer books, that is not what is being discussed here. Spelljammer Acadamy appears (in my opinion) to be content that was "cut" from the Spelljammer book set to be released here for free to try and force people into using D&D Beyond.
My reasoning, the soon to be released book set has an adventure that is level 5 - 8. The Spelljammer Acadamy, when fully released (in 4 parts) will be an adventure for 1 - 5. Only available on D&D Beyond.
First off, thanks for taking the time to give us feedback. 😊
I can assure you that nothing has been cut from the Spelljammer: Adventures in Space product, in an attempt to drive people to using D&D Beyond!
What has happened is a shift in focus for D&D Beyond, now that we are part of the Wizards family. We're no longer focussed on, "how is that going to make us money?" in the way that we were mandated to previously - our first consideration now is, "Will this be fun for our community?"
You may have noticed that the first of the Spelljammer Academy adventures has a section in the introduction on Playing in the Adventurer's League.
The discussions around releasing this on D&D Beyond were more complex and nuanced than I'm going to explain on these forums, but the principle of the whole thing was, "Wouldn't it be cool if we offer these short adventures on D&D Beyond, as promotional content, at no cost to our community?"
It's taken time and effort from both the tabletop studio and the digital team at D&D Beyond, but I think it's awesome that we're now in a place where we're able to offer everyone some well made content, without charging you a penny for it.
How do we navigate to the adventures once claimed?
Also I heard that the 2nd adventure was released but I can't see anywhere to claim it on the main page.
If you've already claimed it - you don't need to reclaim it! Each time a new adventure comes out (for Spelljammer Academy), you can just go to that source and see it (either in the Table of Contents or by following the navigation buttons). Here's the link though: https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/sja/trial-by-fire

Ah okay! Cool!
I didn't see it in the Sources dropdown, but I didn't realize there was a Sources landing page as well.
These free sources (like SJA) not being shown on the megamenu is something that the dev team knows is a common pain point. From what I understand, they are working on a way to help mitigate that and better surface these types of sources, but I'm not sure what the status of that is (or what the timeline for it is).
If you click "adventures" on the Drop Down Megamenu, you can get Spelljammer Academy it from that page with all the adventures' covers better rendered. Is it a click more than ideal? Yes, but you can navigate to it through your collection.
Spelljammer Acadamy needs to have a PDF option.

But, I mean, it's free on the internet.
CTRL+P > change destination to "Save as PDF" > Voila, free PDF.
Takes approximately 2 minutes.

I suggest putting it under the MEDIA menu then, if they want to separate published vs flavor.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
If you have claimed Spelljammer Acadamy click View All and Spelljammer Acadamy will be at the bottom of the page, it takes you.
