Has it been mentioned that the feat "Ritual Caster" does not seem to give the player the ability to select new spells known from the creation wizard, nor the character sheet? Note, even if it let me select 2 spells, it would need to be upgradeable as I found new scrolls at a later date.
If possible, an “Adventurers League” toggle that will help create an AL legal character, automatically hiding options that break the PHB+1 or other rules. Then the character sheet would only show choices that are AL legal, for example hiding spell options outside of the PHB+1 rule.
While I think there is room for some significant improvements to the character sheet, I do like how the information is displayed. It is much easier for me to read/reference than a traditional character sheet. I hope any subsequent changes don't lose this. Having said that, a couple of comments/suggestions:
Allow the player to customize the location(s) of the various "panels."
Have the xp information a little more prominent, very difficult to read for my middle-aged eyes.
Be able to customize the source content when creating characters/character sheets. For AL players, this is crucial to make sure that your character does not violate the +1 limit.
More AL integration. Factions are a big one. One of the most under appreciated parts of AL are the Story Awards that really give the characters some flavor. It would be great if those were incorporated into the character sheet options, instead of having to manually type in the info. Having a separate purchase option for AL material may make this worthwhile. Whether you charge for information by the adventure or season, I would pay something extra to have access to this info.
Allow for the "purchase" of items. It would be nice when I wanted to add something, say a healing potion, the sheet gives me the option to automatically deduct the cost from my currency.
Allow the player to sort the attacks/spell attacks into whatever order they want.
Allow for more customized display options - different fonts, colors, backgrounds. Right now, it is difficult to see what saving throws I have proficiency or what skills I am proficient in. That little green dot is tough to see.
Allow for more "toggles" for displaying. I like the initial toggle on whether to display unarmed strike in the attack section. I would love to see more toggle options for other parts of the character sheet.
Good stuff so for, looking forward to being along for the ride as this evolves.

I want this too! I wonder if they thought "Well, items might vary in cost based on the individual DM and setting so it's not worth the effort." My idea for this would be to add a "purchase/sell" button like you suggest, but have that launch a pop-up that allows you to add or remove items at a specified cost. For mundane items, it could pre-populate the costs from the PHB, while still giving the user the ability to override that amount before clicking OK.

I understand your want for a feature like this and I understand it would have its usefulness. However, I am kinda coming from the other side in that id like to have a way to turn off this feature in my campaigns if it came about.
I feel for one this feature could begin to get kinda annoying at times are there are lots of situations where the user obtains items when they are not purchased and when they do that character may not know the worth of such an item (like if they stripped some plate mail from an enemy and because it popped up with the number of its cost it changes how they might react)
That point then leads to my second point in that i like players to roleplay and haggle for most things they buy from vendors. I will reward them with a better price if they do well or a worse one if they don't. If every time they go buy the item they get the price popping up they will know straight away if they have been ripped off by a vendor and will just expect PHB price every time they buy something.
That being said, I am a big advocate for including features that support all styles of play, and if lots want the feature then I'm happy for it to be implemented if that's what the DDB staff want to do. I would just like it if on them are included ways to turn them off in certain areas.
can we turn characters into home brew monsters. or create base monster statistics and classes? so that npcs can grow over the course of the game with characters?
ScottySkid, I understand and agree with your reasoning. For the record I'm hoping they can add functionality like what I suggested above without replacing the existing "Add/Remove Item" function as every campaign has plenty of opportunity to find or lose items that have nothing to do with shops!
Another item I would like to see now that I played with a barbarian - better functional use of conditions. I like that little icons pop up around the HP box for the various conditions but it would be helpful if multiple levels of exhaustion can be indicated. In addition, the adverse effects should be incorporated into the attacks/saves/checks.
Will it be possible to download purchased single content to the char sheet? At the moment I have puchased e.g. a item from hoard of the dragon queen. I can’t download it to the offline app.

Someone will correct me if I am wrong, but I think purchase of bits and bobs like that are for the character builder, and that compendium content is the whole book or not at all. I AM curious whether if one purchases compendium content only if that shows up in the mobile app at this point. I know that the plan is to have everything on the mobile app eventually, so your purchase won't go to waste. It will just take time to take advantage of it on the mobile app.

These would both be good questions to ask in a separate thread, since they deal with the app. I think it is currently the case that only full book purchases are downloadable to the app. Last I knew, the app did not (yet) include the character sheet.
I was corrected at one point by a moderator. Can't find it at the moment. You need to purchase the full book, not just the compendium only content to have it on the mobile at this time. At this time it is only compendium content on the app, no listings, sheet, etc...
I would love to see more Ability Score generation methods. There are many variations of stat buy (different point base and min/max) There are different standard arrays depending on if you want low power or higher power campaign. There are many rolling methods, none of which are implemented here.

They're not going to be able to satisfy every homebrew option anyone can come up with as a built-in preset. You can always choose manual and plug in the values for any other method beyond what's listed in the Basic Rules / PHB.
Has it been confirmed that the Druid wildshape function will come with the revamped character sheet? I know Badeye confirmed it was in development, but I'm not sure if it was ever fully confirmed.

It seems easy enough to have custom options for the current generation methods. Just tick options and enter your array (18/16/15/12/10/10) or whatever. Change the point base for purchased stats or even alter the min/max. This doesn't even offer the die rolling methods that are in the regular player's handbook. Somehow Herolab seems to manage to be able to do these.
Perhaps these settings need to be in the Campaign settings so that all the players that join a campaign can be generated with the same method.

Currently I only play as a ranger so a companion sheet to track my pet would be amazing!!
