I would love to see more Ability Score generation methods. There are many variations of stat buy (different point base and min/max) There are different standard arrays depending on if you want low power or higher power campaign. There are many rolling methods, none of which are implemented here.
They're not going to be able to satisfy every homebrew option anyone can come up with as a built-in preset. You can always choose manual and plug in the values for any other method beyond what's listed in the Basic Rules / PHB.
It seems easy enough to have custom options for the current generation methods. Just tick options and enter your array (18/16/15/12/10/10) or whatever. Change the point base for purchased stats or even alter the min/max. This doesn't even offer the die rolling methods that are in the regular player's handbook. Somehow Herolab seems to manage to be able to do these.
Perhaps these settings need to be in the Campaign settings so that all the players that join a campaign can be generated with the same method.
To clarify, adding alternate ability score generation methods is a matter of prioritization, not complexity. It would indeed be simple for us to add more of these, but it's on a list of several other "easy" things to implement. We do plan to provide them, but I can't share when yet.

I get that. Implementing "simple" software features can quickly turn into Death By A Thousand Cuts.
Ok I know this would be hard to implement or something but as far as wishlist, the ability to customize your own sheet? Just like boxes that you can insert or move around kinda modular so if you wanted say your weapons and equipment box and like, attacks and spells moved you could just drag and drop per say? Extreme wish, change colors of boxes to fit a theme?

Planned, actually. For the deluxe character sheet revamp (expected "sometime this quarter"), I believe.

That too, I think, but I'm not sure.

I've searched all over the forums and haven't found anything discussing this, so I thought I'd post it here.
With the updated character sheet I'd like to see better Font of Magic support. Specifically, the ability to create spell slots that expire on a long rest. For example, a level 4 Sorcerer can expend 4 sorcerery points to create two level 1 spell slots - beyond the normal limit of four level 1 spell slots.
Right now there's no way to handle this except to make a manual note somewhere on the sheet. The problem is its easy to forget these since I'm normally looking at the Spell Slot section, and I frequently forget to erase them during a long rest. Sometimes I can't remember if I have extra spell slots, or if they are from a previous game day.
1985 started AD&D, newbie to DnD Beyond... Tried the forum search feature to see if this had already been addressed on the forums, but it the search is too general, I'd still have wade through 20 threads with tons of pages on each...
I just created my first DnD Beyond character sheet -- a Tiefling Bard. I noticed that a Cantrip & a 1st level spell the are listed as allowed for the Bard in the PHB was not available for choosing on the DnD Beyond Char. sheet for the Bard... Friends and Dissonant Whispers.
They are listed in the DnD Beyond Spell List for the Bard, but do not appear as a choice on the Char. Sheet build for the Bard...

Those spells are not included with the SRD content and therefore are not available as part of the free content on D&D Beyond. You can unlock then for use in the character builder by purchasing the PHB from the marketplace, or by purchasing just the spells (as a sub-option within the PHB).
Kinda drives a wedge into traffic and using content when there is a toll road for some things and not others. I'll have to locate another source to do up my online character sheet.
(I absolutely get that everyone has to earn a living, not saying everything should be free - I've already bought the PHB, though... not going to buy a second, digital copy just to do character sheets.)
[edit] Actually, now that I think about it more -- I have only bought two books for 5e right now, and am getting a laptop shortly -- so digital content may be the wiser way to go for me in 5e anyways...

How often do Sorcerer's actually create spell slots when they already have their maximum slots currently available? I can't see many using Sorcery Points to create spell slots at the start of their day before they've done anything - usually they would save them to either use for Metamagic, or to regain spent spell slots after they've been used.
I'd like to see the variant rules for spell points in the DMG accommodated in the Spells section. As I said in another thread, I wrote a javascript tool for that, but it would be more convenient right on the sheet.
In the current character sheet, spells added from feats doesn't show up properly under "Spell Attacks". The Spell Sniper Feat does show the spell but it doesn't show the correct range or the Ranged spell attack modifier, and it shows it separately. This wouldn't matter if you could customize the spells from feats, like you can with all other normal spells.
Would it be possible in the new sheet just to make it so you can customize the spells from feats in stead of adding it underneath in a separate tab, that you have to unfold? Also magic initiate does not show the spells up there at all and don't have a way to do it without adding a custom attack.
Regarding custom attacks. I was wanting to add some creative names for my unarmed strike, but I do not get to roll a die for the damage. Is it possible to add a custom attack that will show a flat damage number without adding a die type?
I can only get the bar to show +2 to hit, and can't get damage to show up without adding a die type. I'd like to have it show +2 To Hit, 1 DMG if possible.

I do it all the time in order to get extra usage out of shield. Because of a Sorcerer's limited spell selection, they often have spell levels that are rarely used. They make up for this by converting those rarely used spells slots into ones that are frequently used (such as level one or three). This is even more true if a Sorcerer has multiclassed into Warlock too. I see this mentioned all the time on Reddit and various RPG forums, but I obviously have no way to knowing how widespread this usage is as I don't have access to Wizard's data on the subject.
I am not sure if ti was already mentioned here, but I would love to have the possibility to export my character sheet in something like JSON, XML, CSV or something similar (and have some documentation).
That would allow us to create own pdf with only information what we need and in format we prefer.
But for creating, editing and so on it would be still needed to go to dndbeyond, so you wouldn't lose your visitors/customers and it shouldn't be very complicated, just format the output in a different way.

They plan to make a full API eventually, which would serve this request, but it's very low priority. I expect that it's something they'd do only after the application is full-featured; that is, after character sheet revamp, after campaign management, after Homebrew subclasses, etc.
The current sheet setup is good for those who are just starting, but I think there should be an advanced option as well. Have most of your information on one page instead of having to go through multiple ones. It also is lacking information when you export the sheet. Spells need a lot more information, passive investigation under investigation, tools you are proficient with, breakdown AC more (shield, magic items, etc), and of course druid shape forms. Basically just pattern it after Forged Anvil lol (I know, they are the bad guys, but the damn thing was perfected)
Not sure if this has been asked for already but how about a way to add a temporary bonus to attributes/skills from the character page. I'm sure its in the making but I just thought that I would suggest it. Also maybe a way to override the number of spell slots.

For my own curiosity, why would you need to override the number of spell slots?

Getting both isn't a bad idea, specially the phb, because you get the searchable spells and items.
