So a couple years ago I had bout the 3 basic DnD books (players handbook, monster manual, and DM’s Guide) just for some irl campaigns with friends. With entering college, I had come into the world of using DnD beyond. So when making a character, I had used my books to make a Paladin. After some planning and looking ahead, I saw the oath of ancients was restricted to those who bought the Player’s handbook. As I said before, I already have this. I’m still a little new to all this and may not know if there is such a thing, but it feels like there should be a way to prove you have the book (maybe a single-use code) to avoid needing to spend extra money. Is there a way?
If you want it for free you can use the homebrew tool to create just about anything from the books for your own personal library. If it takes you a lot of time and effort to figure out how to make it, that is exactly the reason why you would want to spend money to purchase those options to use on this digital toolset.
The good thing is all private homebrew is automatically shared in those campaigns with anyone you share a campaign with. So technically you could recreate any officially published material and share it with anyone you play with for free. All it will take is hours upon hours UPON HOURS of frustration, trial and error, and OCD dedication to complete it.
Or you could buy it from the people that already did the work to put it in this tool.
