When I pick the Ritual Caster Feat D&D Beyond is offering 3 ritual spells instead of the stated two at 1st level. If I set it up the feat selection for an ASI at a higher level, then one of the three spell drop downs has spells higher than 1st level. RAW says you start your book with two first level spells. Searched for this elsewhere but to no avail, but just seems like a simple bug.
It's a feature, not a bug. The extra drop down isn't meant to be filled until after you've found more ritual spells to add to your ritual spell book. The limit of what spell levels you can add is based on your current level. Every time you add a spell, another dropdown appears so that you can add another, and another, etc. Given time and money and luck, you can find spell scrolls of every ritual spell for the class you chose and inscribe all of them into your ritual spell book.
It would make sense to indicate this somehow though - like, having a caption sayiin "further spells" above the third dropdown...

Just like how, when you order a coffee at McDonalds, the cup should have "Careful, contents may be hot."
More like how, when you have three identically looking dropdowns, and one of them has a different role, it's usually labelled, you know, so people actually know what they supposed to do and don't have to guess it.

There's probably no way I can express this opinion without sounding mocking or something but please know it is not my intention.
The feature tells you that you can add two spells now and can add more later. So, you add two. If there are more dropdowns you just ignore them because you've already been told to add only two. You've already been told exactly what to do, so there's no real reason why you should be "guessing it". There's only so much hand-holding a website can do, some things you need to actually think about for yourself. You are told to add 2 and only add more if you have more from other sources which you don't so add 2 and ignore any other boxes. Do you need to have some remnder up that when you tie shoelaces you do this after putting them on? No, because there's some things that are just easy logic. Hopefully your lapse in logic is just a brainfart (which everyone gets, I like to fondly call mine "brain glitches") and to be fair a website shouldnt have to put in extra time to put in some failsafe against the extremely rare brainfart - they have a bajillion other things to focus on, sometimes you're just going to have to tie those laces without the note.
I have an odd request. I would like to be able to edit class descriptions and such. For instance I made an Engineer class which is a clone of the Wizard class but I renamed a bunch of things (like spell books are now blueprints, the Arcane Focus is a Power Crystal, and spells are called gadgets...)
You can't homebrew whole new classes in DNDBeyond. And there are no current plans to allow this.
I don’t want to homebrew. Just change the descriptive text info what’s already there...

From a coding perspective there's no real difference. The system is not set up to allow this and allowing it is a bigger project that you may imagine and they already have enough to do for highly requested features and are unlikely to devote time, resource and money into your request which is only from a very, very, small amount of people (comparatively speaking).
Maybe check back near the end of 2019 or early 2020. Maybe they'll be able to revisit things then. For now, the answer is a solid nope with only the tiniest fraction of "well, not for a long time at least".

There's nothing handholding in it. If a form states it needs two pieces of information, and there's three boxes, one of them reserved for a different use, but without indication which box and what use, then the form is confusing. This is not handholding, this is the main difference between good and bad UI design. And the feat box does NOT tell you to "fill out two, and only select more if you come accross". Instead, you are presented with three identical dropdowns, each saying "Choose a Spell". There's nothing about "only use the third when..." anywhere around.
And the shoelaces example would only be relevant if you had three rows of slots on your shoe, but only need to put the laces through two rows, which is not the case. A more relevant example would be: you have three identical pizza boxes on top of each other, and you are given two pizzas, and told to fill them into the boxes - and expected to know which boxes to use and which one to leave empty. If you choose the wrong one, is that a brain fart, or the lack of proper instructions?

The feat literally says "When you choose this feat, you acquire a ritual book holding two 1st-level spells of your choice. " So, choose two, like it says, and move on? The next point describes adding more later when you find them. So clearly you add two and use the other for a third. You;ll also notice when you add them that more dropdowns appear so it is very super amazingly in your face obvious this is for "adding later" like the feat describes you can do. So, pick two, leave rest blank, move on. I cannot imagine how, without some kind of brainfarting, this is somehow elusive.
And the shoelaces example would only be relevant if you had three rows of slots on your shoe, but only need to put the laces through two rows, which is not the case
This is a poor analogy. There ARE many shoes, especially trainers, that offer more holes than you need - most do not need to use all sets of holes but some have feet not quite fitting the usual size-guides and those extra holes are there if needed to tie the shoe tighter than most would have. Or maybe that;s a UK thing.
Just like with the feat: you use the holes/dropdowns as much or as little as needed. If you are told to only use two holes, then use two only.
A more relevant example would be: you have three identical pizza boxes on top of each other, and you are given two pizzas, and told to fill them into the boxes - and expected to know which boxes to use and which one to leave empty. If you choose the wrong one, is that a brain fart, or the lack of proper instructions?
What? OK. The boxes are all the same size. Use any two you want. In the feat you may use any two dropdowns you want. Want to use the 2nd and 3rd dropdown? Just use those two. Want to use only the 1st and 3rd? Just use those two. There is no "proper" slot/box to use, any will do just needs to be 2 in total because you're only adding 2 at this time. No matter which ones you pick, it works and more dropdowns appear so, if you had more spells from elsewhere to add you could add them. Even when you take the feat you may have a wizard in the party letting you copy their rituals right away, or similar such scenarios.

I feel like having only two drop down boxes then a "+ additional rituals" options to put additional drop down boxes would be more intuitive. I think the arguments about "hand holding" are silly because they ignore first, that the point of automation is to make the character sheet easy to use so if something is not intuitive it should be considered for improvement, and secondly that new players using an automated sheet are not reading all the blocks and are often just making quick selections until they learn enough to actually make good choices. This IS something that could confuse new players and that could easily be fixed with a minor change. Not changing it a horrible attitude by players who don't have respect to the simple truth that they are not the only people using this sheet and the knowledge base and attention to detail of other players will very from person to person.

The lack of inflection in text means that a reader of any post adds their own inflection as they "verbalize" it in their head. I write long and repetitive in an effort to be clear and avoid my intent from being skewed or inverted. I am also bad at examples. It is common for people to skim my posts pull out the idea they think I mean or want to argue against or focus on my bad example instead of the point I am actually trying to make. I apologies for the confusion my failure to be clear and concise creates.
Suggestion: In the builder, when we are required to add/choose something, can the section in the top navigation menu also shine in some way so we won't forget?

Does that include multi classing? I have a lvl 6 (blood hunter 3/ cleric 3). I would get two ASLs in a row instead of one every 4 lvls. That is also depending on how I lvl the character up.

Half-proficiency (see Jack of all Trades).

When I try and export the sheet, there's too much information, some of the features and traits are cut off. Any help?
What pdf reader are you using? When I export, additional features and traits go on another page; i'm wondering if your reader is changing font sizes.
