Scourge aasimar’s Radiant Consumption should do half character level dmg, and the pop up tooltip thing (I don’t know any of your web developer lingo, sorry) says characterlevel/2@roundup, but mine is displaying as a decimal amount.
Here is are some css overrides which, while not providing a perfect layout give an idea of what I'm talking about. If the borders were constructed of a top, bottom and a center that could size you could have them be any length.
For mobile and tablet users this is such a let down. Really poor design and ui for touch screens.
I was really looking forward to this update, but it seems like the designers have only thought about desktop users.
Its more cluttered, harder to read and way too many clicks going back and forth between tabs. When we play we don’t want to sit behind a laptop each.
I didn’t think I was going to be shocked of how bad this turned out to be, but sadly I was.
I couldn’t agree more.
Plus if you force it to load a desktop version the top menu bar becomes unusable and the sidebar can’t be dismissed. It almost could work as a desktop version on iPad but that raises the question why the mobile site just doesn’t run like the desktop site to begin with. There is so much wasted space on the iPad. The system went from everything is viewable on one page (albeit with some scrolling) to having to tap multiple buttons to change views for different sections.
What happened? The colors? The layout everything used to look so modern and clean, now it looks like a clashing off brand app that some inexperienced developer made to try to make it look as close to the 1970's pen and paper as possible... What in the hell were you guys thinking? I can't use this ugly mess... The app was what really looked modern and was helping to bring dnd into the mobile space. Now it just looks like a mobile version of a price of paper... Red and beige? I'm out...
I was a huge fan of the old mobile layout. Is there a way to get it back? I loved being able two swipe continuously to get to stuff. Now it's tapping a button then selecting from a menu. Seems like a big step backwards.
Also, the attribute scores take up most of the window on Mobile. Can't they be condensed and made vertical like a real character sheet? Seems like a big empty window with almost no info...

I know. This is so bad and sad. I read that the data they have says that 70% uses desktop, but looking at the character sheet on a mobile/tablet I feel this is just an excuse because the designers didn’t manage to make a good mobile solution.
Half-elf variants are not able to pick the other 2 ability score increases during character creation. The standard half-elf does not have this problem.

Yeah, it's all bad. Both PC and Mobile versions. Please, please, please just roll it all back. Maybe have an opt in for this "modern classic" style or something. It frightens me to know that they can just push out a radical update like this and make it mandatory.
Only issue so far is how much empty space there is on higher resolution displays. This is on a 1440p display, with firefox maximized, but not fullscreen:
Like look at all that! especially the bottom. Not sure what to do there though, since the text in the sidebar text sometimes barely reaches halfway down the frame.
When I have a sidebar out I feel i could easily fit 3 of them.
I know high resolution displays aren't the norm, but they're growing more common now.

I found changing the template to one of the black or gray temples helps.

Where do you change the template? All I see is "Fighter Rust" under the theme which is unfortunately inadequate.

You should be able to click your portrait and select Change Theme to open the sidebar with a list of the color themes.
I can't see the extra spells (cantrips) for warlock pact of the tome on my spell list. Is there somewhere I need to go to see the spells and I can't add because they aren't warlock spells.

There seem to be some warlock specific issues currently. There are multiple reports posted here on them, so hopefully it'll get fixed relatively soon.
I can see the weapon info on the bottom right hand side of the PDF. That said unarmed strikes do not appear but if you hit the manage custom button in the top right of the combat window you should be able to create a manual version of the unarmed strike which should appear once exported to PDF that said it should be something that is done automatically. Give them a chance its a big updates and there will be some things that wont work, I'm sure it will be fix at some point down the line for now this work around should help.
I'm unable to get *any* custom attacks to show up in the exported Attacks section, hopefully this gets fixed.
Frankly I'd love the ability to enter custom free text in *any* of the boxes in the web version, and have those print in the exported PDF as well. Much like how I can write whatever I want in the printed version by hand, it would be great to have the ability to customize what's in the boxes in DND Beyond.
Desktop is fine, but the more I play around with this, the more I'm disliking the mobile layout. My players mostly use iPads or other tablets at the table, and I've got two recommendations:
Make the tablet layout more like the desktop layout. Too much menu! The old mobile layout was fine, where you simply scrolled, and I think the new tablet layout would be better like that. The phone layout is simply annoying. Take skills, for example. Used to be you could see them all in one look and swipe back and forth to the other things. Now you have to scroll down to see all the skills and if you want to see anything else, it's back to the menu you go.
I'll echo what others have said: the old header was better. Important things like HP and AC should be always accessible no matter what screen peeps are on. You shouldn't have to swap to more than one screen in combat. The phone header is better than the tablet header in this respect, but only slightly. At the very least, add these two things to the Actions, Combat and Spells screens.
I can't seem to select spells to learn, every time I click the prepare a spell box nothing happens

I'm having a very knee jerk reaction to it and I'm not liking it. I'd much rather have it the previous way.

It'd be nice to be able to reorder attacks.

Can we get the "limited use" section back?
