The new unearthed arcana unity domain allows a bonded character to spend hit dice as an action to heal a bonded unconscious ally. Can you guys please implement hit dice changing without resting now that official play test content supports this.
You should allow the creation of: Nonmagical equipment, Classes, Vehicles, and some way to implement a compendium feature similar to the homebrewery or GM BINDER.
The first three are coming. I keep requesting the latter.
I've been running tabletop for years with a number of homebrew feats with class, skill proficiency and or alignment prerequisites and wanted to post at least 1 for each class, but the system only lets you set total character level instead of class level, proficiency requirements are limited to armor proficiency and there is no alignment options.
I understand that the requirements for feats have to be a bit more restrictive than the system for items, (otherwise we'd have Goliaths with Squat Nimbleness) but I'd really like to see more options listed for prerequisites.
E.g. "Dirty Fighting" should be available to only Non-Lawful characters. (Other feats might only be appropriate to Non-Evil, Non-Good or Non-Chaotic characters.)
Feats with a class level req would represent those skills and abilities that are only available to characters with a specified minimum experience in that class. It's not appropriate to allow the 19th level fighter / 1st level rogue access to the "master cat burglar" feat, even if they are a 20th level character because they really aren't invested in the rogue class.
Skill proficiency prerequisites would allow for specialization within a skill- for example armor, silver or goldsmith, weaponsmith or farrier for the Smith tool proficiency, tumbler for acrobatics or race/subject for history.
Another option I'd like to see listed is feat prerequisites for a new feat. I know it's been done with past editions, (a bit over-done occasionally,) but I'd like to be able to write up several somethings as the next step up on a feat- not just an actor, but a Master Thespian!
I was wondering if the page numbers could be added to the corresponding digital compendium. Also, maybe adding notes about (or links to) any relevant errata information.
Adding page breaks and footnotes could possibly be a huge undertaking and would maybe lower the viewability but would be handy for certain searches and situations such as when players have the "same" official sources with differing information.

Thank you but I meant adding links within the texts of the compendium.
I'm talking about adding a new feature to the digital versions of source books. A quick way to find the information while looking at it. Rather than having to search for the information on a seperate source.
Something similar to the way spells and skills work, maybe you can hover over it or click it to go directly to the information. For errata this would basically be a change log showing how and when it was changed.
Same thing for page numbers, I'm looking for them added to the digital source books
Is there going to be a way to filter out Elemental Evil stuff? Annoying when you play as druid and have all those spells in the list, but not permitted by the DM.

Why doesn’t your DM allow Elemental Evil?
I dont really know, I use d&d beyond to manage my character, he does not. He said that if its not in player handbook, its not allowed. Besides, what is elemental evil?
Elemental Evil Player's Companion is a free supplement of player options provided by WotC as a paperback book and PDF in conjunction with the Princes of the Apocalypse adventure. It includes I believe three racial options (goliath, genasi and aarakocra), as well as several spells.
It is however not Player's Handbook content, so if your DM is running a "PHB only" campaign (which isn't that uncommon), it wouldn't be included under that.
If you want a quick list of the spells included in the EEPC, you can search for the source in the spells listing. More granular content control is something I believe has been asked for before, so the developers are aware of the demand for such a feature.
I do have a question about DDB and the EEPC. How come that material isn’t listed as a “book” like the Basic Rules? It would be convenient if it was something we could look up under Sources.

There is one thing when you say you are going to use Ice Knife spell, only to have DM look at you questioningly. The other side of this mess is introducing new players to D&D while relying on dndbeyond to manage their characters. I mean, dndbeyond is super convenient when both the player and DM are new. Except for the part of trying to explain to them that half of the spells they see can't be used because they are not part of basic rules player handbook and you don't want to support EE content in your campaign. I've seen threads and posts asking about it a year ago, heck, some posts date back to 2017!
Its about god damn time something is done about it.
Technically speaking, even still we would not be restricted to only the “basic rules” on DDB since they smooshed the Basic Rules and the SRD together in one thing. If all you want is “basic rules” then PCs would be restricted to:
Champion Fighter
Thief Rogue
Life Domain Cleric
Evocation Wizard
Every other class option is technically SRD and not included in the “basic rules” so none of the following would be playable:
Barbarian
Bard
Druid
Monk
Paladin
Ranger
Sorcerer
Warlock
Considering that, why not just include Elemental Evil? I mean, it’s free and mostly just spells and a few races.
I’d like to see an option in the spells tab to toggle between spells requiring an action, a bonus action, or all, similar to how you can select spells by level, cantrip, or class feature spells.
I do have a question about DDB and the EEPC. How come that material isn’t listed as a “book” like the Basic Rules? It would be convenient if it was something we could look up under Sources.
I think it has to do with the fact that the Basic rules are basically the PHB Lite for new players. EEPC races are in Volo's and most (if not all, I didn't check) of the spells are in Xanathar's. The races are still listed (in Game Rules > Races) as being in the EEPC though...

So are the spells.
I mean, I can do this: Basic Rules & SRD, and link to a DDB entry. But if I want to link to EEPC, it has to go to an outside source. 🤷♂️

If we're gonna add tabs, I want one for concentration yes & one for concentration no.

I posted the following under the homebrew forum and was directed to this forum. Hope I've got the right thread.
