I would really like the simple ability to have more than 20 levels on a character sheet.
Bonus' don't have to stack or anything... just want the levels.
Oh, and while I am wishing... gestalt character options, so you can get the full benefit of multiple first level characters.
We are playing in Mystara, the original (?) dnd world. Characters go to 36th level and the world is designed so that you have two classes. Our only option at the moment is to have twp character sheets.

well, until such a time that WotC puts out rules for levels above 20 or creates gestalt rules, they won't be implemented on Beyond. As has been previously stated... multiple times at this point: Beyond has to go with the rules as they are presented by WotC, which is levels 1-20, and no gestalts.

Can we have the option to level characters beyond 20 for those rare moments where you reach level 20 and want to continue the campaign?
that will never happen for WotC has no official way of getting levels beyond 20. but stats going to 30 and boons should be done at some point, really wish for them to do it though. its been long overdue and should of been up at launch ! since its in the DMG.

Some items with charges have a counter (Gem of Brightness/Gem of Seeing), while others do not (Ioun Stone of Absorption). Can magic items that have a count or charge number in the description be updated to include those charges for ease of tracking?

If I recall correctly (and I do 😉) the DDB team is working on adding Actions to Magic Items (like feats, races, subclasses, basically everything except Magic Items currently 🙄). So I expect that they will wait until that’s done so that “Uses” get attached to Actions and can reset on Short and/or Long Tests like they’re supposed to, and then only things with “Charges” will actually have charges (like they’re supposed to) and Charges can only reset at “Dawn” (like they’re supposed to). Before anyone asks, the answer is “no,” DDB never gives ETAs on stuff like that.
It would be great to assign DM status to someone in a campaign. I had to recreate an entire campaign because our DM left and I couldn't access the player's sheets when I took over.
This was posted over a year ago and nobody seems to have followed up on this. I'd really like to be able to make people DM for a variety of reasons in addition to the case above. I have a master tier subscription. When quarantine hit, DDB expanded content sharing to 5 campaigns, but then reduced it to 3 again at the end of it. Well, I'm still sharing with 5, and I believe that if i lose one campaign, i will lose content sharing in that campaign with those people. This way I could reuse some of the campaign folders I have and basically run multiple campaigns out of the same folder. Similarly, I play in a group that runs a west-marches style game, where we all take turns DMing. It would be great if people could assume the role of DM while they are running the game so they could see everything and hand out items and such.

I agree that it would be handy to be able to change the DM assignment without having to build an entirely new campaigns here. Note, however, that the content sharing is still expanded to 5 campaigns. Initially that was supposed to only last through May, I believe, but then it was extended to the end of this year. If you check out the subscription info under the Marketplace tab, it lists 5 campaigns under content sharing. Finally, just in case you aren’t aware, you don’t have to be the DM/create the campaign to be able to content share. You may know that last piece already, but I couldn’t tell for sure from what you wrote.
Would love for an easier way to connect the stuff I've bought here to my Foundry VTT game. I know y'all don't want to undercut your own impending VTT release, but in the spirit of the OGL... we're gonna find a way to play the modules in the system we want regardless, and it'd be so lovely if you made it less arduous for us. Thanks for listening, whoever this is. Stay safe out there.
I don't have the time to read all of these posts. I'm not trying to be toxic either. I want to ask why I can not search for articles/posts on the main page. I have to flip through them all. Am I missing something, or is this just designed wrong?

THAC0 means "To-Hit Armor Class 0", and depending on who you ask, it was either pronounced "thack-oh" or "thay-ko". When a -5 was amazing and an insult was asking, "What alignment are you again?"

well you can click on mega menus and then click "articles" then you can select the category you want which already narrows a lot on what you are searching for.
but yeah, articles cannot be searched by the search engine. wish they could though.

you could publish the item and then just link to the page directly since published things are public ! if you are sharing your stuff too, they can already see the page even if it is not public. in either case you only need to give them the link to the item page.

I find that googling: "dndbeyond [content of article]" is much faster than scrolling through the article list.
Can we have minotaur, satyr, and centaur added to the monster sub-type drop down in the monster creator? I realize it doesn't really matter, but it's nice to have my minotaur NPCs tagged as such.
I am very fond of the playtest material subclass Rune Knight. I would like to have this official!
DDB doesn't decide what becomes official, Wizards of the Coast does.
but you're in luck, there is a high probability it will be official in a month and a week when Tasha's Cauldron of Everything releases.

Believe this is the right thread. An simple but useful update I would appreciate as well as likely others would be: on each of the races ‘Race Page’ could the formula for random high be added under the size category. I have noticed on most of the new races that the formula has been added & it mades this it very easy when creating a new character. Though on other races that have been released a while ago or the initial races from the PHB do not have the random high equation on their respective race page.
Could the Devs (?) please add the random high equation to each respective race page please

I'm newish to DND Beyond, but is there a way to add a manual modification for saving throws or ability checks?
This does not fit with the purpose of this thread

There is a way to add proficiency to skills manually, but why would you do that? If you want to give modifiers, you can do it by feat homebrew
