Feature request: A button to pull a random list of magic items with a filter for rarity and type. It would be helpful for me as a DM, when browsing for ideas, to not have to start with "A" every time.

Request: Can we please have the ability to buy more character slots.
The people in my campaigns have a limit of 6 characters, and guess what... even if they unassign a character, it is still counted as their 6 because its them who created it. so basically they are forced to delete characters in a setting (my setting) where the other characters can reappear in. at this point in time, my players are loving DDB, but if this limits keeps to be there, they will change to something else. a ubscription for more characters is a stupid idea, you should be doing like other microtransaction softwares and allow one to buy more character slots for a fixed amount.

If they “unassign” the PC and a player with an unlimited number of slots (like a helpful DM) “claims” that PC for safekeeping, that will remove that character from the player’s roster, freeing up a character slot for them.
I would like a way to tell DnD Beyond that a weapon is a monk weapon. My DM has allowed me to use a boomerang as a monk weapon, but the character sheet will not update the damage die when my martial arts die increases. Kensei monks also are able to use weapons that are not normally monk weapons, but still can replace the damage die with their martial arts die.
Please give us more item archetypes for homebrew creations!
XANATHAR'S GUIDE TO EVERYTHING has a lot of interesting tool options, I would love to add that text to a homebrew version of Herbalism Kit, but we have no tool item class! Not to mention you have all these wonderful items like ale, bread, meat, rations! But you cant make your own version of it.
I've searched the compiled list and also this thread but have not seen this, though I cannot believe it's not in here somewhere:-
I'm a regular user of PbP forum both as a DM and Player. Having this fantastic resource on the same site as the PCs which are playing in the PbP campaigns is superb. But they are in no way integrated. I would love to be able to somehow Tie a Post I Make on the PbP Forum to a PC, so that I can just click an attack roll, save, skill check, whatever and have it rolled inline in the post I'm making. That would be uber.
they're not official content (and in some cases quite broken *stares at Aetherborn*) so they will not be brought here. You can homebrew them into your own private collection though.

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"

Separate convo, but what about Aetherborn seems broken?
I understand if a feature or content can't be provided (in this case because it's apparently not official, which is slightly confusing since WotC published the non-playtest PDF similar to EEPC) but this is a thread specifically for requesting new features. Homebrew can always be done, regardless.

They don't seem much more broken than Half-Elves to me. This isn't completely on topic, though.

they are pretty official to me since they were literally released by WotC as extention for those who preffer a magic the gathering feel. we already have a magic the gathering switch, it would be easy to just add them to that.

they are homebrew made by some of the team who worked on both MtG and DnD. They are not official content.

Isn't that what all official content is as well? Employee homebrew that's published by WotC?

No, otherwise Unearthed Arcana would be official. Official content is content released by WotC in a book or product like One Grung Above or the Tortle Package, and it will say if it is official. The planeshift articles are not official.

None of the examples you list say anything about being "official" nor does the Elemental Evil Player's Companion. They're all PDFs published by WotC as supplements. What's more, the actual description of One Grung Above in the DDB marketplace contains the sentence "These are intended for fun and are not legal for D&D Adventurers League," which doesn't convey much in the way of "official" sentiments.
UA is very clearly labeled for playtest and not official.
Once again, I can understand if they don't want to include Plane Shift on DDB for one reason or another but this thread is specifically for requesting things. So I did.

completely agree with that. reading the planeshift books, they are as unofficial as unearthed arcana and other pieces like one grung above and the tortle package. yet those two made it to here. we even have a magic the gathering switch in which to put them in. i think the problem do not lie in WotC, i think the problem lie within ddb who probably doesn'T want to add those books. we're talking planeshift books who paved the way for the ravnica book and the theros book. if anything they should be availlable. if they are doing unearthed arcana here they should be doing the planeshift books too.

o/ \🥛🍪 Hey, take care of yourself alright?
Just thought of some more things that maybe might already be things
1. Dark Mode, because this site is really bright
2. A little help thingy, so that people can see what stuff do and how to use them without going on a forum
3. A way to only view forums you are subscribed to
4. A way to go to last unread post on Private messages
5. A way to see if the [whatever][/whatever] thingy is part of a book you don't own
6. Scrollable Signatures, because sometimes we go a bit crazy
6a. Infinite space signatures, because if 6 happens
7. A way to delete and edit polls ( I'm repeating myself but it should go here )
8. Examples of what to put in spaces in the homebrew creations stuff
9. A way to see what posts get thanked
10. More Easter Eggs ( Wait... That was probably the only stupid one... )
Okay that's about it
