I wanna create my own spear with another dice type then the original has. I have been able to add the dices for the magical damage and for the new primary stat, but the old 1d6 is still there, how can I remove this? (this also apply's to base armor stats)
2. Is there a way to create basic items that are not magical?
I want to create really basic common item in dndbeyond so we can easily keep track of carrying capacity, but when I go in to the item creation I'm forced to selected magic item and magic item type, and none of them fit what I am trying to create. Is there any way to not having to deal with that?
The answer to both questions is not currently. Both have been requested repeatedly. I've not seen any staff comments indicating either are on the master plan, unfortunately.
Question: I own all of the physical copies of the books, so I'm not really capable of purchasing the digital versions all over again. I understand why the content is available for purchase in digital form and I will not infringe on that, but can I still use DnD Beyond and make use of all the info I have in the books to create a digital resource to manage the characters? Can I put info from the books as "Homebrew" so long as I DO NOT SHARE it and only use it for my personal characters? Same for material from the DM's Guild? I don't want to violate any copyright issues. If I can't do that here, is there a better option for this kind of digital character management where we input info on our own and manage it as we go for personal use?

You can absolutely copy the information from the physical book to use the digital toolset here in DDB. As long as you do not submit those for publication, you can use it as you like.
Great! Thanks! Just wanted to be certain. It's truly an awesome resource and my wife and I want to make use of DnD Beyond. So much easier to access on a tablet instead of trying to read my handwriting. ;)
Are there any plans to allow for homebrew adventures? Its probably the biggest feature that I'm waiting for, I feel that if the answer is yes and we could choose to make them public (for free) then dndbeyond just has that much more growth potential.
Is there any way to add restrictions to choices with feats? (EG, a feat that lets you choose to learn a spell up to half your level). Is there any way to delay extra choices on a feat? (EG if the example above let you later select more spells.)
Essentially like the Ritual Caster Feat works when finding additional scrolls, though I cant seem to find a way to limit or add the options.
Likewise I cant figure out how to tie specific modifiers, spells or other effects to specific Optional choices (only descriptions), is there some trick to this I'm just missing as all modifiers add regardless of choice.
Is there supposed to be a limited spell choice when creating magic weapons/armor/items? I noticed that there were some spells that weren't available for selection (the spell I was looking for specifically was hex) and I was wondering if any spells that aren't currently available will be in the future.

As I understand it, Spells, etc. not in the SRD cannot be added to homebrew items, at least not those that are published, because they will "break"--or potentially break the character sheet--if someone who has not purchased the necessary content tries to use them.
Is there a way to more strictly limit the choices of skill proficiencies you grant a subclass? Playing around with an urban druid concept currently, and I want to give proficiency in one of Deception, Intimidation, Insight, or Persuasion. Messing around with the modifiers, the closest I can get is "Choose an Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma skill" which includes everything I want at least, but has a lot of extra nonsense. I tried to copy the way that Samurai, for example, does it but that just gives "Choose a Samurai skill."
Is there anyway to mark something as a 'Monk Weapon'? - I have a monk that wants to be throwing daggers, but as they don't stack we were using darts instead, which aren't considered a Monk Weapon so their damage dice don't upgrade with level.
Not a huge problem, but I was looking to homebrew a stackable dagger so the dice would upgrade. But you can't pick the weapon type (i.e. simple melee weapon), a 'Is Monk Weapon' modifier would be great in the 'Modifiers' section... also an 'Is stackable' checkbox would be great.
I'm inputting a race that has a limited use ability tied to an ability score, is there a way to make that scale automatically or would I have to edit the uses in the race to match the specific character's score?
how long does it usually take to get moderator approval for homebrew submissions? because ive been waiting 12-20 days for approval of my creations.
(by moderator approval, i mean when you make something public, and the waiting phase that says something along the lines of "waiting for moderator approval before your creation can go public")

Two weeks, give or take. Mind that if you click on Submit more than once before approval or rejection, your homebrew will go at the tail of the queue.
With homebrew races, is it possible or are there plans to allow limited use abilities to change based on factors? Right now you can only do a number, but having options for it being based on an ability score and/or your level would be ideal. For example, a race that can cast charm person a number of times equal to their charisma modifier per long rest.
Is there any way we could sort the Homebrew sections by date added? It's a bit rough, having to search through every single Homebrew subclass/race/item to see if anything new has been added. Thank you!

Unfortunately not. :( The closest you can get is to sort by Views. This has been requested a few times, but no staff have responded to say whether that is something they are considering or not, as far as I've seen.

Is it currently possible to do something like:
Your maximum hit points increase by your Constitution Modifier while attuned to this item.
I tried a bunch of stuff and can't find any way to do it. So I figured, maybe it's not supported yet.

Anyone knows if creating new fighting style is possible or on the dev’s to-do list?
