I like making and borrowing a lot of homebrew things (particularly creatures) for my campaigns. However, the more homebrew creations you have saved, the harder it is to find the one you're looking for at the moment. Would you be able to make some sort of folder mechanic so that you could create specific folders and put items in there, and when you click on it, the items you put in there would fall down for you to see?
I don't know how active this thread still is, but I have a feature request for Homebrew creations. I have an idea for a subclass similar to the Hexblade Warlock, where it allows the use of a stat besides Dex or Str for that weapon. I would like to be able to control what stats are used by weapons, please. Thanks for making such an amazing website.
Has anybody seen any movement on adding any of the features requested in this thread?
There are a lot of requests on this thread; I doubt anyone is willing to take the time to read it all and give you a tally. Are there particular features you want to know about?
I took a quick look at the first page of the thread, and one request was for homebrew races, which was added a long time ago. No doubt there are other features that have been added.
Much of the original requests have been answered to the best of ones ability. For myself its more to a point of a mere posting box to chat about everything in D&D 5e.

Just curious. There are still minor changes that oddly impede functionality. I'm just trying to figure out if the devs follow these threads or they've completely switched over to the voting site.
I've had a separate post in this thread that I keep updated. A few of the items seem like relatively easy fixes. I could be wrong.
It's also been a bit over a month since the last changelog post, so it's not entirely clear what's been in the works.
Would love to be able to adjust what the Long Rest button does. Because I use a combination of the HD on LR and healer's kit requirement. Something as simple as being able to toggle the full heal would be awesome!
I've asked questions about one item or another, over the last few months. And have received answers. This thread started in 2017; I believe all things asked and answered from that year is now been put in books. Is there something about this game that is not been said for 2017?
After creating updated versions of published homebrew subclasses, all the old versions will appear as options when creating a character that uses that subclass. It would be nice if only the latest version was available for selection.
If you remove the outdated version from your collections, they should no longer be selectable from the character builder. If you go to your most recent edition of the homebrew (assuming you've been selecting the "create new version" option) there will be a list of previous versions at the bottom of the homebrew's page (you'll need to open its page rather than view it from your creations list or collection). There will be a button to the far right that says something along the lines of "remove from my collection". Clicking that should disable the outdated version from being selectable in the character builder.

On this topic, is it possible to remove published homebrew from "My Homebrew Creations"? This is more of annoying housekeeping thing than anything else.
Heaven is under our feet as well as it is over our heads. Gods of nature are as varied as the natural world itself. From the inscrutable gods of the deep forests, to the tender deities associated with particular springs and groves, the lands and terrains have many Lords and Ladies watching over them. The Shadoweir are warrior-druids of Mielikki, who's call is to protect and preserve the world's natural beauty. These devout worshipers hunt the monstrosities that despoil the woodlands, or bring destruction to those who would destroy nature for the growth of civilization. They may bless the harvests of those faithful to their god, or wither the crops of those who defy her.Named from the greatest trees of the forests, the Shadowtops and the Weirwoods. The Shadoweir are a highly secretive branch of the faith that originated in the northern reaches of the High Forest. Its membership has thinly spread beyond the high forest. The Shadoweir serve as a sort of religious knighthood of the woods. Unlike the Arms of the Forest or even the Needles, the Shadoweir are an activist and proselytizing order who are willing to go on the offensive in the behalf of their sacred forests. They seek to advance the regrowth of ancient forests reduced by civilization. Many Shadoweir are adventurers, wandering the Realms with a missionary zeal. They seek to halt the endless assault of civilization on their ancient homelands.
Shadowier's Charge
When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you gain additional proficiency with long sword, longbow, studded leather armor, chain shirt and chain mail (including Elvin varieties), and the Survival and Stealth skills
It's the solemn duty of the Shadoweir to actively educate, defend and at times initiate aggression to those who wish to bring the woes of civilization to our sacred lands.
You learn to manipulate your magic to better help you fend off those that would seek to destroy nature. You can now cast the cantrip Shillelagh on any proficient weapon.
Knight of the Wild
At 6th level, gain the Extra Attack Feature
Renew Life
At 10th level, you can cause new growth and life to appear in wastelands, ruins, deserts and other dead areas. Once per day, you can conduct a ritual which takes one hour. Plants and fungi suited to the environment push out of the ground and natural wildlife magically appear in a cone originating from you with a length equal to 10 feet per druid level. The effect normally persists for a number of days equal to half your druid level, rounded up, but there is a 1% chance per level that the effect is permanent.
Mielikki's Seneschal
At 14th level, Mielikki grants you defenses against those that would do you harm. You are the beacon of the faithful. You lead by example and will, if necessary, fight aggression with aggression. You can achieve a critical hit when you roll a 19 or 20. Besides doing double damage, you grant advantage to your allies to hit the same creature until the start of your next turn.
One thing I'd really like an option for in homebrew is class-specific options, like warlock's Eldritch Invocations, and the Artificer's Infusions. These are things that are easy to come up with neat interesting homebrew that can make a character more dynamic and personalized, similar to feats which do have a homebrew creator, but they don't have one. I think it'd be a great inclusion to the homebrew creator
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
So far this session I have hit my teammates twice, flat-out missed 3 times, and only hit the enemy twice. Trust me, you don't want to borrow my dice.

This has been requested and on the roadmap. You can track it on the official Trello board or the unofficial summary document.

If the weapon was as a Spiritual weapon, the stat used should be wisdom.

A lot of the things in the thread have been added. The only one I see as a miss is the ability to browse Subraces.
Attack: [roll]1d20+[AMOD][/ roll]
Damage: [roll]if([roll:-1:fumble],=1,0,if([roll:-1],<[TARGET],0,if([roll:-1:critical],=1,2{[DAMAGE]}.expand(),[DAMAGE])+[DMOD]))[/ roll]
Anybody knows if there are plans to introduce homebrew weapons and classes? I have seen those requested by a lot of people, but haven't seen them yet.
Classes, no.
Weapons exist, but only for "magic" ones. But I've made custom mundane weapons and just called them magic to play within the system.

You cannot remove published creations from your creations, once they're published they're permanent. You can remove them from your collection however.
