They won’t stop. This is at least the dozenth thread like this I have seen since I joined. It never stops. People just do not understand that this website is a bookstore. That’s their business, to sell (lease 🙄) books.
Maybe pinning a thread about why this thing can't happen could reduce the number of threads made about this problem.
I doubt it. There’s a thread pinned about ERftLW. The very first post clearly states the Spells of the Mark are nonfunctional yet. It has 65 pages of people wondering why their Spells of the Mark don’t work, and the Bugs & Support, General Discussion, and DDB Feedback forums are inundated weekly with posts about that too.
There is a pinned thread for the most recent UA Articles as well. Just today alone I had to tell two users who “couldn’t find any threads” about them wondering about things clearly mentioned in the very first posts in those threads. 🤦♂️

I usually search up something I don't understand (mainly homebrew) and the question is normally 99% of the time already asked and answered. If only other people could do the same.

REMEMBER: Wizards Of The Coast does not own DDB, they are two different companies. When you buy a physical book, WotC receives the money you bought it for, not DDB and vice versa. If you want a digital key to get an online book for free because you have the hardcopy book then DDB makes no money because you don't buy off DDB you buy off WotC, so please stop making threads about this issue. DDB needs money to continue helping people and servers aren't cheap.
Out of sheer curiosity, what percentage of them have I answered?
Ha, just looking at the number of posts you've made, I would say many of them.

I used to play D&D, but had to take a break to focus on school. Now I have time again, so decided it was time to buy the 5th Edition books and get back into things. I also was disappointed when I realized, after buying the hardcover books, that I’d need to buy the digital books separately in order to use the digital tools. D&D Insider was subscription based, and I subscribed right up until they stopped charging my credit card because they’d discontinued the service (and I subscribed to DDI specifically for the character and encounter builders). If D&D Beyond was subscription based, I’d have already signed up. Mainly because after just purchasing all of the books, I don’t have enough money to purchase them all again in digital format (but would still have enough to pay a smaller fee for a month-by-month subscription).
I’ll probably end up buying some of the digital content eventually, but I’m not super excited about having to buy it separately from the hardcover books, and I likely won’t end up buying all of the digital content. Bundles would have been a nice option, and if I’d had seen any bundles for sale, I absolutely would have bought all of the bundles if they’d been available. Even though Beyond came out after the books, they could have still started to offer bundled versions once both products were on the market (and maybe the do? I just didn’t see any when I bought my books).
I think the reasons people have posed as to why they didn’t go subscription based again are all plausible and reasonable. It’s fine they decided to market the digital tools like they did. Logistically, it’s reasonable since they’re two separate companies (thanks to everyone who pointed that out). But, that doesn’t stop me wishing it was subscription based (like DDI) or bundled, instead of entirely separate.

In case this helps at all :)
