This is looking very good. Let us know when it's out of 'draft' form. ;)
Thanks! I think it's ready now. In fact, I just pm'd Stormknight (since they'd commented previously) asking if there were any big inaccuracies or inadvertent issues with Terms of Service, and asking how to remove the DRAFT from the title.
Subclasses cannot currently be homebrewed, but homebrew subclasses are expected soon.
Really good. I would avoid using the word soon or you will get a "This was posted an hour/week/month ago and why haven't we got the subclasses yet? You said soon."
Also I think the material that was put out for the first adventures as player PDF's is also available free (Like the elemental evil players guide).
Probably should just hold on to this a couple of days and go ahead and say subclasses are a go, since they'll be released Monday.

Mods: I'd especially like some input from you (or Curse Staff) about the last couple of sentences in the section for library or school groups/clubs. Is there an option for groups like this that could accommodate a group like this if the original purchaser left the group? Is it appropriate to suggest they contact Curse staff, or should that line be deleted?
Also, are there other categories/groups/types I should add?
Ok, here's an update for you on school clubs/groups or games store clubs.
The best plan is to do the following:
Ensure where possible that a NEW TWITCH ACCOUNT is created for the purpose of doing this. Make sure that the name of the account reflects the name of the club or organising society/school. Note that, as per Twitch ToS, this account will still belong to an individual, so the current advice on ensuring it is held by a teacher or other long-term member is sound. For a gamestore, we suggest the owner.
Reach out to a moderator to let them know that this is a club account, supplying information about the club and proof that it exists.
If, in the future, there are any issues with needing to transfer ownership of that account to another individual (E.G. the current account holder moves to another area of the country), then D&D Beyond Customer Support should be able to help. It is important to have registered this with us as a club in advance though.

Now we just need someone to put together an FAQ or something about the limitations of the current character sheet and see if we can trick BadEye into giving us a release date for that.
Thanks! I incorporated the info about clubs into the main article, with just a little bit of editing on the wording to make it flow properly. I'll hold off on removing the language about subclasses until Monday, just in case there is a last minute glitch. (And to avoid folks over the weekend complaining that this post implied one could homebrew subclasses.)

I just realized, thanks to another thread, that there is nothing in my guide for folks who use VTTs like FG or Roll20. I don't, so I'm completely out of my depth there. I did add a link to a post about that very issue to the end. If there are folks who are familiar with VTTS who can write up a scenario or two, I'll gladly add them to the first post.
Holy crow, what an exciting day! One of my players had their character die in our last session, and they wanted to use a homebrew subclass from the Sprouting Chaos player's guide for their new character. Though we wouldn't be able to use DDB... But this is perfect timing! Already been playing with it and I'm pretty happy. Thanks devs!

Hey, anyone know if it's possible to take advantage of a promo code for the legendary bundle after already having purchased it?
I know it's somewhat irrational, but it really bums me out/mildly upsets me that if I had waited like...3 months to buy it i would have been able to use the 25% code from Critical Role...
I preordered MToF. How do I claim the free Adventure? Is it part of the MToF itself or separate?
I don't know the answer. I suggest you make a separate post, as your question is not really on topic here and is likely to be overlooked and thus not answered.

I'm always here, watching, waiting. :)
The free adventure will simply unlock at the same time MToF does. You will be able to find 'Rrakkma' in the Adventures section of the Compendium.
I'm a DM of many campaigns, I'd like to buy monsters and I have a few questions :)
1) I'm wondering if the purchase of individual monsters (or monster bundles) gives you access to the lore/descriptions of the monsters or only their their stat blocks.
2) Can you browse easily between various bookmarked monsters? (Both in app and the website ?) Can you bookmark homebrewed monsters and access them as easily?
3) Can you easily edit existing monster stat blocks? Or do you have to create an entire new homebrew entry each time?

Looks good to me - I'll get back to you about the clubs section, but seems reasonable to me as it stands. :)
I've edited the title of the post to remover the word DRAFT and stickied the post.
Good work and thank you!

Homebrew Subclasses are now live
So I see. It will be tonight at the earliest before I can update the guide, but I'm excited about the release!

Removed (hopefully) all references to homebrew subclasses not being an option. Correct some more typos/grammar issues (I swear, they are breeding!)

Hey everyone,
Thanks for this great topic!
I'm a DM of many campaigns, I'd like to buy monsters and I have a few questions :)

Thanks in advance!
Wondering something else:
4) If I only buy specific monters, will I be able to access them in the app? (or just offline in any way)
Thanks!
