At a glance, the Core Bundle is only a few dollars more than what it's going for on Amazon right now. And hey, you get the digital books too! I'd say that's pretty good.
My personal thoughts are that they're pretty reasonable.
The terrain set, I'd have gotten if I didn't already have a mat and DMG. Sure, it'd be an upgrade, but £65 us a bit steep when what I have works reasonably well. the only new stuff really would be the clingys, but if I didn't have a version of the stuff, it'd be worth it.
Similar story with the creature set. I have a 3D printer and a MM, so I can get better for cheaper. I'd be concerned about their durability, though. Maybe they're higher quality than in used to, but I'd imagine the clingys would start losing grip and their integrity in general after a couple of uses. Since you tend to use the same ones over and over, you'd end up with no Goblins or Orcs left while most of the least useful in the collection would pristine.

Really? Must be pretty expensive in America. It's on the same ballpark as buying the core ruleset on Amazon as well as the Player's Bundle (which gets you SCAG, XGtE and TCoE as well) on DDB in the UK

Having not really broken down the prices to see if it's worth it/cheaper to buy digital from dndbeyond and physical from another retailer, I'm happy at least that this is a step in the right direction of offering Physical & Digital Bundles. Not so happy that I had to spend a good hour editing this thread to be up to date :P

On Amazon, the pre-order price is £37.13. The DDB book price is ~£22 after currency conversion thanks to the Legendary Bundle discount, which isn't available as part of the Bundle. Without the LB discount, it's around £26.
So the price for me would be £57.13 if I buy separately. For those without the LB discount, it would be £61.13.
So yes, in some situations, the bundle can save you approximately £1.14. I believe this would equate to roughly the same price as a sausage roll in Greggs.
The bundle prices do not really offer any real savings (other than a free sausage roll) and if you are a loyal customer who has spent a lot at DDB on the Legendary Bundle, you'll actually lose money if you buy the bundle.
the case bundles are actually pretty darned competitive. i havent factored in shipping, but the Creature case bundle is the same price as just the case on Amazon. So that's a great value.
In the UK, the creature case bundle is ~£55 on Amazon Vs £65 for the Bundle. You essentially get a DDB copy of the Monster manual for £10 if you buy the bundle, saving you ~£16.
Not a bad deal, but who is buying the creature case without owning the Monster Manual already?

beginners? players looking to become DM's..
and in the US. only the case is the $65. the case, plus book, plus digital is $65 in this bundle. either way, the whole idea of a bundle is to save money, and this appears to meet that basic requirement so far.

Pretty sure the UK is lead by a cat named Larry, so I don't know wtf is going on there. ;p
But point taken, it's the same price. You are correct sir. This is not a sale!

Larry is a sign we're heading to better times, at least ;)
I get the feeling that WotC base their pricing on the American market, which shafts us because our books seem be comparatively cheaper. Similar thing happened with the Dragonlance... it's cheaper to buy without the bundle, so you're effectively paying to get access on time.

The target price in Germany for the core rules bundle is 170€, the physical+digital bundle goes for 195€ and is free shipping (finally). So, actually 25€ for digital access is quite fine.
Seems, WotC moves in the right direction, to make the bundles attractive enough.
Maybe I’m a cynic, but I see this as moves towards over-monetizing DDB, and as a horrible thing for FLGSes. Not a fan so far.
They're selling things that are already for sale, and they're trying to implement a model that people have been asking about for years. How they go about is questionable as what may be a best practice, but how is selling items that are already for sale, at a lower price (in some markets at least) "over-monetizing"?
Since apparently everyone uses Amazon as the baseline comparison, I think it's worth noting that Amazon's business model is to undercut every other business until it goes under. Its pricing is extremely aggressive and only possible due to unsavory business practices like overworking/underpaying workers and building warehouses with taxpayer money. The price might be cheaper, but you (and others) are paying more in the end. It's more than worthwhile to spend a few more bucks elsewhere.

Thaaat's interesting. US publishing is very monopolized, I'm betting England has more independent publishers, thus a more competitive prices. Of course, as you say, until something is digital.

Yes, gotta agree. People have been asking for this for-flippin-ever. Hey, like Linklite said, it's the same price.
This is pretty much base line. Gotta start somewhere? lol

it's a great deal for us 'Muricans. Basically the hard copy and digital copy for free basing the bundle price on the case on Amazon.
How they handle other markets is obviously something that still needs work.
Hi I just tried to buy both, since I'm a new dm and figured that would save me a lot of time trying to make terrain and creature tokens. It said I was unable to purchase in my country, but I live in the US. Did anyone else get something like this?

The Shadow of the Dragon Queen Bundle is £59.99.

It looks a slightly better deal in the US for the Creature Case Bundle at $65.
Amazon US price is $60, so just an extra $5 for a digital copy of the Monster Manual.
