I'm excited by what's been shown on the roadmap and am anticipating both the encounter builders release and the ability to log in with my google account instead. But I do wonder if the ability to use google to log in will eventually make it possible to use google play credit to pay for content or even subscriptions on dnd beyond. I'm just never up when they stream the updates cause its dang early in the morning.
Then you can watch the VOD later or go over the summary document to see what we know at the moment.
Any word on whether we will get the ability to block people on this site, like so they can't see your posts and you can't see theirs, and they can't message you?

The D&D Beyond forums aren't a social media platform, so you're unlikely to see such features added.
You can already block another user so you can't see messages from them.

I think that's kind of odd though. I get it's not social media, but there is this one person who is ridiculously confrontational about anything that opposes their views and very condescending and I've reported them when they've crossed the line, and on my end it looks like nothing's being done. It would be so much easier, if we just couldn't see each other's posts. Instead I feel like if this person has already commented on a thread, I cannot comment on it because the same thing happens every time. The current way of handling this doesn't seem to do anything.
Whilst we will not discuss the results of reports, or whether punitive action has been taken against other users, I can promise you that every report is reviewed by the moderator team and whilst you intentionally are not able to see the result, any actions that are against the site rules are dealt with.
edit: Please stay on-topic - this thread is for discussion of the feature road map.
i am new to d&d and when trying to figure out how to use the character creation and the home brew items creation (after receiving some cool items from my DM) i was forced to google how to use the site, in doing so i found discussions from 2017 that people were having problems with and even more discussions on things people would like to see added. and to my surprise. in 2019 these things have still not been done

Apologies if this is the wrong location for suggestions, but I was wondering if there's a way to add characters from the 5e version of Adventures in Middle-earth to D&D Beyond? It'd be great to have all my characters in one location. Thanks -- the site is awesome!

You would have to create them yourself to get them on here, creating homebrew as needed. As this site is only for D&D, no other systems (at least nome have been announced) to eventually be supported here as well.
I'm not familiar with the ruleset of that game, but if it isn't the same as 5e D&D then creating the characters on here wouldn't do too much good.
Yes but now youll be able to just level them up on its own in an automatic way.

Takes me back to the 4e days with the official wotc toolset. The ability to scale monsters up and down by level and have all their numbers adjust was amazing. Can only hope the DDB monster editor is as good, if not better.

Is this the Monster Builder that's mentioned in the "Upcoming" section? If so that sounds wonderful!
I am not sure if this is supposed to go here, but I noticed in the feature requests that someone wanted to know if dndbyound was ever going to roll out its own virtual table top similar to fantasy ground or roll20. I also noticed that it was marked as being planned, yet I have not seen any updates on when that will be happening since this was about two years back. I am wondering where you guys are with this on the road map since I would love to see what you guys will do with it given the amazing thing you have done so far. Anyways any info would be cool and keep rocking guys.

Yeah, I assume these are all things being worked simultaneously. Hopefully, this beta rolls out within a month or two.

Monster builder coming soon haha
Looking forward to 6E, hopefully by Fall 2021.
Hoping for 4E balance, faster combat, and mechanics separated from character themes.
You can already create homebrew monsters?

First time digging into the Roadmap. It's promising!
I'm eager for the encounter builder, and I'm curious what the Monster Builder is since there's no description.

what about dndbeyond in other languages?
