I've heard this sentiment about a lot of the features from Beyond. Is there any more detailed information or is it really just up in the air like that?
Not at at launch, but soon after. Our priorities for this week (starting Wednesday) are the Backgrounds revamp, familiars/companions/wild shape, and then some of the layout changes we have mentioned for the builder and sheet. Those won't all be done this week, but that will be the order we tackle them.

It is on their to-do list, but their immediate priorities are the mobile app, character management revamp and homebrew for races, feats and subclasses.

Is there a link to there timetable they are hoping to have all this done in, or do we just have to watch a video to know more because I want this more than anything right now.
I am hopeful for sooner than later, I enjoy "theater of the mind" more than maps, the twitch integration will work perfectly for me and my friends that play from across the globe.
My only concern is why they went with a vertical sidebar. Most streams seem to be very tight for space in that dimension, a strip across the bottom would cover up less of the camera footage

I'm basing all of these questions on this video:
1. Is this feature out now? If so, where do I go to play with it? If not now, when?
2. Does this feature integrate with Roll20 or would someone playing on it have to update both sides every time someone took damage or somesuch.
3. Are face cams required to function?
1 - Not yet. Soon because they really want this feature out there quickly.
2 - We don't know yet. More info will probably be dropped once it gets closer to release.

how long till we see this happening? it's been a while
In the last Dev video, I believe they said after HB subclasses and the revamped Character sheet.

That's a brilliant idea. Please get it out ASAP. Even if it just shows the name, race and class. We can start from there and wait for more updates :D
