im looking at my friends screen but there isnt a send invite button.
That would be because there isn't one.
On the campaign page at the top-right is a "Join" link. Somebody in the campaign will need to copy this link and send to you.

Everything that I have read on here so far has not helped me send an invite to my players for my campaign. I have created the campaign but it does not show me a link that I can send to them to invite them. How do I get around this?

This is really odd. I want to make sure you are looking in the right place. Go to Collections>My Campaigns. Find the entry for the campaign in question and click on “view campaign.” In that page, just under the name of the campaign, There should be a blue line. Just under the blue line, on the right side of the screen, there should be a rectangular section outline in a dashed blue line. The link is inside, and below it are the words “copy link.” If you click on those words you can copy the link.
if this is not what you see when viewing your campaign, please post a screenshot. (You will need to first sip load it to a site like Imgur and then post the link here)
Welcome to D&DBeyond. What, specifically, did you need help with?
Join a campaign that I've already made as the GM or DM
If you mean how do you, as DM, add characters to the campaign, follow my instructions in the post above yours, to find and copy the link, but then paste it in the url bar of your browser and hit return.
I'm new to D&D Beyond, that much is obvious, but honestly I've tried searching for and not finding where it talks about how you can join an existing game or, if you're the GM, send invites to players.
The question has been answered exhaustively in this thread and at this point is only attracting people who seem to misunderstand the point of this thread.

I had this same problem, the character limit was reached on the campaign I was joining.

How do you join a campaign?
You need a GM who created a campaign on Beyond to send you a link and invite you.

I am not seeing the box in my campaign to send the invites. I’m using the app on ios
I don’t think you can do it from the app. You would need to do it from website, using your browser app on your iPhone or iPad.
