Will all of the hardcover books (including Tales of the Yawning Portal) be available to purchase at launch?
Oh good, so the abomination known as DanDwiki is going to overflow onto WotC's newest cash grab? Or will there be some measure of review for home brew content being posted, before it's made available to subscribers?
Whats the point of the subscription if i still have to buy the books, again?
"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

So has pricing for the "class packages" not been determined yet? Or should I expect that to also be $30?
So first week Volo's Guide will be $30?
Prices are pretty reasonable for the sub tiers. Book unlock prices are less then the physical books as well so thats nice for a digital copy of the reference materials (i cant think of a way for you guys to be able to verify that someone owns the physical books anyways so thats a dumb question).
If anything this might impede on physical book sales since this is portable and as long as the digital content gets released at the same time as physical release... i might not want to get both anyone like I planned. Maybe. Theres something gratifying about a book.

Seeing WotC track record of digital tools I cannot buy the books again. I paid print, paid Fantasy Grounds and Roll20 (over $350us). I am not going to pay again for another tool. Why do I need to pay again to look at the options for a pally on the computer. Just let me buy a PDF and use it in any tool I want.
I know if you buy a VHS tape of a movie you dont get the DVD for free but i bught the DVD and i get recharged everytime i put it in as different DVD player.
Want me to buy the books for D&D beyond, then buy back my books on Fantasy Grounds.
Can I just take a moment to give a thank you to the whole development team?
I have been here, lurking but here, since dndbeyond opened and the improvements that have been made and the tools that are now available through all y'all's hard work are amazing!

To be clear, I mean my general book consumption habits, I buy kindle if available, otherwise the physical version.
But having an option of digital vs physical, digital will always win for me.
Will there be a subscription plan to use the content without having to buy the digital books? I already own the books physically, I don't need to own them twice. I just want to use the service and I wouldn't mind being on a subscription for it (kind of like MMO subs).
