Name: Psalm Stats: STR: 8, DEX: 15, CON: 13, INT: 10, WIS: 12, CHA: 18 Race: Tiefling Class: Rogue (Swashbuckler) Description: A slender, gaudily dressed rakish fellow with crimson skin, short white horns, a shock of translucent white hair and an ever-present puckish grin. Background: Charlatan
Backstory: While working the streets of Waterdeep as a pickpocket, Psalm was apprehended by a canny halfling noble who turned out to be an established confidence artist. She saw potential in the young, audacious fellow and decided she'd find a use for him. Working together, they traveled the realm, pulling schemes in every major city they came across. She taught him the tools of the trade and he managed to be one of the only people she ever met who could genuinely make her laugh. All that came to an end they day they returned to Waterdeep to pull a job Psalm had heard about from his network of contacts in the Xanathar Guild. Against his mentor's advice, they attempted to con some high-ranking members of the guild. Things turned sour faster than they expected. Psalm escaped with his life. His mentor did not. He doesn't know exactly what happened to her, but he knows it wasn't good. Desperate to move forward and push the guilt out of his mind, the tiefling rogue has enjoyed a number of adventures on his own, adding to his wealth (and his self-authored "legend") while perpetually developing his library of false identities.
Note: This is a character I developed and played in several Adventurer's League adventures. So, his character sheet is already loaded with a few goodies that I'm happy for him to leave at home, locked away in a trunk if they aren't permitted in this adventure.

playing Jin Wei, human (Kara-tur) way of the Four Elements Monk in the Princes of the Apocalypse
Description: Shadow is almost completely unnoticeable. Slightly darker skin than average, but not remarkably so. Mid-length brownish blonde hair with a touch of gray, and eyes that seem blue one moment and gray/green the next. His clothes were once a dark blue workman’s outfit but they have been washed so many times they are a muddled gray. He wears a tool belt with several pouches and tools and a long wooden tool-box on a sling hangs by his side. The only distinctive feature about him is the well-worn hilt of a veteran’s blade thrust through his belt.
Backstory: The military organization has laws. When those laws are broken, someone has to hunt down criminals and every one of them is a trained killer - but even the army has problems normal military police can not or will not solve. That’s where Special Investigator Sekolath came in. Whether it was a senior officer on the take, a special forces deserter, or a thief selling stolen military-grade weapons to organized crime made no difference to him- his passion was the hunt. He spent so much time deep undercover he barely remembered his name and had lost all family and friends when it came time to retire. He used to be the best - now who was he without a badge, without a Hunt?

His form is eagle-like and he keeps himself well-preened as a matter of pride. He generally wears his vestments, but will slip into his old entertainer costume now and then. Background: Entertainer (Story teller) Backstory: Screechirk came from an entertainment background. He enjoyed telling stories to others and playing his lyre. It was a joy for him to see others' faces light up with delight. One day while doing his routine he met a priest of Milil that shared his enthusiasm. He was enthralled by the priest's own stories and began to tell them to others. After a while he sought out more and became a cleric of Milil. He was drawn to Zinda by tales of the March of Vice, hoping to see the festivities for himself, see the entertainers of Zinda, and perhaps tell some tales himself.
