I am fine with multiclassing to keep it or trading it for something like Staff of Striking
If Nil wants something like Scimitar of Speed I can RP a good deal also.
Either one of those items would be a great deal. Harukai already can do bonus attacks, so let’s see if we can swing a deal for Nilparin and the scimitar of speed!

(I don't need the scimitar, if you want the Staff I'd say go for it)
Before waking up Nil sees a dark shadow coalescing around his rapier infusing it with a slight glow before going away, as he wakes up he looks to his weapon noticing nothing different about it. Shrugging it off he puts his gear back on going down grabbing some breakfast waiting for the rest of the part to come down.
Harukai comes down in the morning dressed in his typical acolyte clothing instead of the finer clothes found at Iarno's hideout.
"Good morning, all. I suspect that we have passed the time when impersonating Glasstaff will be helpful, and this staff would be much more powerful in the hands of an actual mage. Gundren, Sildar, do you know anyone in town who may want to trade for this staff--perhaps someone who could use it to aid in the defense of the town?"
Harukai sits down, leaning the Glasstaff against the wall behind him.

During this conversation with Sildar and Gundren, Linene from the trading post come into the inn for some breakfast prior to opening the shop. Looking in your direction, her mouth drops slightly and a surprised look comes over her face as her vision meets the beautiful glass quarterstaff.
She says “Is...this the staff of the the mage whose bandits terrorized the town for so long?”
Stepping around you to take a closer look she says “Is it enchanted in some fashion?”
Harukai responds, “It is a pleasure to see you again, Linene. Yes, this staff gives me an added measure of skill in avoiding attacks, and I sense it could do much more in the hands of a capable mage. We were just discussing what to do with it, as its power is somewhat wasted in the hands of one such as I unskilled in the magic arts.”
he hands the staff over to her for her inspection.

She inspects the staff and smiles. “This would not only help a mage, but also be a symbol to the town that tyranny does not go unpunished. If you have a moment, please follow me to my shop. I have a proposal that may interest you.” She asks the inn keep to make her breakfast to go and walks with the group back to her shop.
“Let us bring the redbrand cloaks along as well,” Harukai mentions to his companions. “If this is to be a symbol of liberty, it may benefit from a display case lined with the identifying cloaks of the redbrand brigands.”

Linene opens her shop and takes the group to the back where she keeps the weaponry. She says "I genuinely appreciate your help in removing the threat that those redbrands posed to our town. We hope that this allows us to bring more outsiders to our town and aid the mining industry we hope to create here. To show my appreciation for your assistance in this endevor I would like to offer you a trade. That glass quarterstaff can be used as a symbol of hope for the townsfolk and possibly even a defensive measure if we get a helpful mage to invest in the town's protection and advancement. If you will give it to me I will offer you this in its stead. I have connections with some shops in Neverwinter who in turn work with some enchanters. They sent this and I was debating on sending it back, but I am glad I didn't."
Harukai gratefully accepts the staff, then backs off to give it a few experimental swings. Impressed by its balance and maneuverability, he says to Linene, "This is indeed a powerful weapon...I, I don't know what to say--I am overwhelmed by your generosity. Thank you."
All thought of finishing breakfast gone from his mind, Harukai leaves as soon as polite and goes to look for a place to do his morning kata--with the STAFF OF STRIKING!

OOC: Sorry for the long delay. Working two jobs really messes up my enjoyment of D&D.
Linene says "I have a decent assortment of newly forged weapons from the smiths in Neverwinter. The staff was my best piece but I also have this special shortsword that may be of interest."
Linene has standard weaponry such as shortswords, longswords, a mace, a light crossbow, and crossbow bolts and arrows. The special shortsword is a +1 shortsword (I can't figure out how to link it) but it would cost 150 gold if interested.
As he finishes the quarterstaff kata, Harukai will smoothly glide into his simplest kata--one he uses with the shortsword. Drawing his moonsword, Harukai invites Nilparin to join him, demonstrating the moves as he goes.
