Astra glares at Nirzeg as he peeks at her butt. She falls back a little, to deprive him of the opportunity to look again. "Can we just ditch him and buy some clothes?" She whispered to Genevieve.

Derrikoth finds himself in the middle of the open air market, where several ladies from several different stalls are trying to sell him local produce and baked goods.
Astra and Genny, should they choose to go clothes shopping, will find a small but relatively diverse selection in Yartar. In the market, there are seasonable traveling clothes of various sizes, as well as silks and other fine linens for a premium. There are also a few good cobblers and tailors for the finer or more fitted things.
Astra picks up a silver halter-top, two blue blouses, a grey skirt, a pair of silver leggings, as well as a pair of combat boots with open toes. She also purchases a kimono. "For formal occasions." When she adds up the costs for all of the clothes, her eyes go big for a moment. She certainly has the resources to pay for all of the clothes, but she certainly wasn't expecting it to cost that much. "H-hey Genevieve." She mutters sheepishly "You don't think that you could win me a discount by singing for these guys, could you?"

Later in the day, Derrikoth returns to the inn mildly bewildered, with arms full of baked goods and produce and a few gold coins fewer than when he left. As he waits in the lobby for everyone to show, he munches on a loaf of freshly baked bread.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Genevieve had no use for clothes, at most she would look at shawls and sashes to change the one that hung at her waist, but ultimately just followed Astra around as she tried to find some kind of inspiration. How revolutionary would a song about behinds be? She would ask herself seriously. It would be a difficult piece since she never saw humanoid body parts attractive, but...
She was shaken from thought by Astra’s request. She wasn’t sure if singing would reward them with any kind of discount, but maybe asking would suffice.

Abandoned but unperturbed, Nirzeg toys with the idea of going off on his own to seek out his fortune; only to abandon the idea, knowing himself to well. Still, he would send Wickerman off to keep an eye on the girls while he went back to studying his new book in his room. Until hunger led him back down again to common/lobby area. "Ah, Big D. You have returned with... baked goods... Huh..."The Githyanki smirks, and continues on with every intent of snatching up a loaf with his mind.
"And no Alus with you? Hm! Boy must've gone swimming or something... But in any case, shall we head early to this meeting of yours? Or are we to wait until all are gathered to avoid having to repeat anything?"

Derrikoth groans slightly, coming out of the stupor of his food coma, and looks at Nirzeg, “Well, uh, I think we should-“ he cuts off with a large burp, ”wait for the others. The Waterbaron will probably want to ask you guys questions, and I wouldn’t want to make her angry... again.”
Nirzeg grins toothily, and slides into a seat next to Derrikoth. "You made her angry? Oh do tell how you managed that one Big D?" He asks cherrily. "Did you try bringing that damnable beast in there with you? Or perhaps even made a pass at her?" He pauses frowning, and then snorts and rolls his eyes. "Never mind that last one. If she's human I'm sure such an attempt would've been welcome. Those beings are such perverts after all -- Though, not nearly as much as you progenitors, as I'm certain you know." He winks, then settles back into his seat.
As he did so, an out of breathless Zeek comes fluttering in through a window and lays out on their table. Nirzeg it pays it little mind.

As she follows behind Astra, wandering from stall to stall in the marketplace, and winding up at a tailor's to have some clothes fitted, Genny is able to draw some smiles and cheery attitudes from their vendors. Her appearance alone is still enough to cause a stir in this city. A couple times, passersby will offer greetings and mention how much they loved her performance last night.

Alus spent the morning wandering the streets alone, mostly down by the docks, listening as boats came in and out of port and various and sundry parcels were loaded and unloaded. He kept his eyes peeled for places of worship, hoping to find like-minded worshipers of nature's beauty wrath--and hoping to avoid the more uptight worshippers of the Knowledge Domain.
Around lunch time, he returned to the inn, pulled up a chair, put his feet up on the table, and quickly fell asleep. He awoke to the sounds of Nirzeg and Derrikoth chatting; neither seeming to have notice him.
"Damnable beast..." Alus rounds the table and sits next to Derrikoth, confused. "...is he talking about me?"
"Either way, I agree with Big Blue. We are more believable as a group. Most folks shrug off the first sound of thunder--but when the crashes roll one after another like waves--" Alus reaches over and gabs a fistful of bread without asking and shoves into his mouth, finishing his thought as best he can as he chews, crumbs spewing about "--then they take notice."
Alus swallows, let's out a loud hum of satisfaction, and palms another large handful, nodding to Derrikoth as if he were invited to partake.
Alus is able to find a temple on a hill not far from the docks, a place by the name of Happy Hall of Fortuitous Happenstance. From the outside it appears drab and dreary, a gray stone building with featureless windows. But the priests and worshipers of Tymora inside the building welcome Alus and, deducing from his manners and appearance that he is an adventurer, are very curious about what he's been up to recently. They seem to want stories of heroic deeds and epic battles.
Alus will have leapt at the opportunity to talk up the priests--though his storytelling leaves much to be desired.
"So there was like this big giant right. No wait, there were two. Wait was there two? Oh yeah, totally, two of them. Big red ones. And they came in like ROOOOOOAR. And we were all like I don't think so dudes. And then a boulder came at me like wooooooooooosh BOOM. And then this monkey, like, this monkey thing saved me, right, with its magic hands, you know? And then I was all, broooo not chill. And then like BANG BANG BANG the lightning came down on them, and I was like allllllright man!"
Derrikoth also takes “damnable beast” to be referring to Alus, looking at him with mild confusion, “I’m not sure what you mean by ‘take a pass at,’ Nirzeg. I would as soon... lay... with a human as with you. She just has a very excitable personality and we were interrupting. Anyways... where are Astra and Genevieve? Are they coming or not?”
Nirzeg notices the confusion and huffs. "First off. Just so we're clear. I was talk'n bout that high horse ya rode into town on in the most literal sense."The annoyance swiftly fades as he leans back into the chair. "As fer our two fairer friends, they went out shopping fer what I can only hope is practical for our mission. They'll be back soon enough though, so don't go worry'n that little thinker of yours too much Big D." Nirzeg adds with a roll of the eyes. "I will say that it's nice to hear ya got some taste, my friend. Give me a nice elf lass or even one of them dwarf women any day. Heck, I'd even try halfling once just to see if the rumors are true 'bout 'em."He adds casually. And with that, he settles in to shoot the breeze, seeming to pay ALus last comment no real mind.
Astra feels wonderful in her new clothes. She finally has something nice looking to wear instead of just armor. She waits for Nirzeg to make some sort of pass and when none comes, she realizes that he's not there. "Oh crap! We were supposed to go to the Waterbaron's! I'm so sorry!"
And Astra begins sprinting to the Waterbaron's, hoping that she's not too late.

Derrikoth smiles at the mention of his high horse, “Josephus truly is something, isn’t he? I will say that having you agree with me is mildly more concerning than having you spewing whatever your schoolmates taught you as insults. Unfortunately, it seems we’re going to have to head over to the Waterbaron’s without the other two, otherwise we’ll be late. Do make sure you have that eyeball, though.”
Once they arrive and reconvene with Astra and Genevieve, “Good that you remembered. We would’ve had to go in without you if you were any later. Anyways, let’s head inside, and please try to make a good impression. The effort will do you all much good.”
He turns and heads up to the door guard, “Myself and one of my companions were here last night with urgent news for the Waterbaron. I have returned with the rest as she requested. Take us to her now.”
“Apologies, lizard man, we got held up by a group of fans.” The construct pushes a pair of sunglasses up the bridge of her nose plate and flips her new scarf around her neck. “Perhaps one day you’ll understand.” She then stands beside the group in all her beautiful robot glory, waiting to be allowed inside.

When you call in again at the Waterbaron's Hall, you are received with much formality by Nestra Ruthiol. The Waterbaron welcomes you into her cushy, upper-level office. As it's teatime, sumptuous delicacies have been laid out for you. The treats here are a far cry from the common food down on the streets of Yartar; even the food served at the Pearl-Handled Pipe would be considered plebeian compared to the Waterbaron's sandwiches, meats, pastries, cheeses, teas, and confectionery.
Her four honorguard (all human males) stand quiet and still, each attentively observing the room from his corner.
"So. I am in the presence of the heroes from Triboar," says Ruthiol. Her shrewd face is drawn into a smile that would be pleasant, if not for her sharp, scrutinizing eyes. She has obviously heard of you. "I deeply apologize for not recognizing you yesterday. My entire office was out of sorts, preparing for the solstice feast, and I did you great injury by being so dismissive. Please, sit down. Have tea with me, and tell me what it is that Yartar can do for you, as you've come this long way. You were saying something about Frost Giants yesterday?"
She offers you whatever you'd like to eat or drink, and listens politely.
Astra glares at Nirzeg as he peeks at her butt. She falls back a little, to deprive him of the opportunity to look again. "Can we just ditch him and buy some clothes?" She whispered to Genevieve.
