Matrix picks up a handful of the loose flint "hey Flint, these cousins of yours?" After his joke he will brace against the slab and help push. "I feel it would be best to do as little damage to this thing as possible, it is still a sacred place after all"

Ink asks Don what direction Edgar had flown in where he heard the roar, he asks Quill to fly up and see if she can catch a glimpse of what is causing the ruckus. Ink, when he has a moment, will pop into her eyesight to see for himself...
As all of you get behind the altar and the ship pulls, the rope strains and you heave with all your might—but the only thing that gives way is your feet on the ground. The altar is simply too heavy to budge.
You’ll have to think of another way to get at the magical aura upon which it rests.
"This won't do. Ink, point ta where th thing is that we're after."

Flint casts fabricate to create a 5x5x5 stack of bricks from the slab beneath the altar selecting the closest side, leaving enough of an opening for one of us to get into the hole. Planning to create the stack off to the side of the altar so the item can fall freely and so we only need to move the bricks once. Also planning to leave enough support so the altar doesn't topple into the hole.
Flint’s spell works without a hitch, and the bricks are easily removable, only taking a few minutes with everyone helping.
Underneath the now-hollow altar is the source of the faint aura of divination magic: a 5-foot-long mithral spear tip, weighing 75 pounds.
The roaring sound, having been something akin to hearing rolling thunder from leagues away, has long passed. Quill peers this way and that, but isn’t able to pinpoint a source or direction.
Meanwhile, the pair of elk look on with what might be curiosity.
"Mithril..." Flint is lost in thought for a moment thinking of all the things he could make with this much Mithril, probably more than he's ever seen in one place. He comes to and starts an identify ritual.

Flint can tell that this massive spear tip once belonged to a powerful Cloud Giant warrior. It has the “smell” of divination magic, though the powers it once held have long since faded.
"Maybe we should get moving to the next location before something bad happens?" Don looks about. "I don't like those noises we heard earlier. Let's take the win."
"Ah got'na mortar Ink, did'na think ah'd be buildin' walls." Flint helps with the bricklaying and once finished collects gear to bring back to the ship. "Let's see that map and plan ar next stop."
Shining White will take you out of the Evermoors to the north, while the Grandfather Tree is deep inside the ancient High Forest. The crew is not quite sure yet how they will get you close to the Grandfather Tree, since navigating by landmarks is exceptionally difficult over such a vast forest. Delsephine seems to think that you'd have to do quite a bit of hiking, no matter where they dropped you off.
The mending spell is of little ultimate effect. Flint is able to fuse a few bricks together, but isn’t able to reattach them all to make the stone altar whole again.
The crew confirms the new location, and off into the late morning you sail, with the wind at your back.
// It’s going to be around sunset (same day) when you reach Shining White. If you want to do anything in the 6-7 hours before landing, let me know! //

Ink waves at the elk with a friendly smile and shouts jovially, "We're on a mission to reign in the giants!"
Then, while Flint and Don are busy, he starts putting the bricks back in place. He asks, "I don't suppose we have any mortar to seal this do we?"

"Could you use mending perhaps?" Matrix would have helped set the bricks while Flint was identifying the artifact

Ink continues translating the book he has.
Ink suggests that, tomorrow, he could reach out to the Tree Ghost Tribe druid and seek permission and guidance from him.
