Good help! Crownsguard is free of the insidious grappling water creature. Flint's spiritual weapon splashes as it strikes the elemental. Sanra screams as she is momentarily engulfed by the powerful being.
// Sorry, for some reason my notifications are really off. //
The water elemental, perhaps seeing it is outnumbered and outmaneuvered, releases Matrix in a furious splash and quickly retreats downhill.
Sanra coughs and brushes her wet hair out of her face. "Thank-thank you," she says, flustered, but unharmed. "I hope you believe me after this. Whatever those people wanted to do to me, they are obviously working for Brenner."
Ink comments, "I doubt this lot was working for Brenner - maybe the other way around."
Ink walks up to tentacle tongue to investigate the man, as he passes Flint, he nods to which Flint strongly slaps Ink on the back with a little guidance causing Ink to take a misstep from the force of the blow.
Ink thanks Crownsguard for the help by holding him up splayed out, he comments, "You've become a bit more... aggressive... with your negotiations as of late. Everything all right?"
Ink thoroughly investigates the spell caster, searching for possible false pockets, pulling any pouches he finds, medallions, and other jewelry - he wants him emptied of possessions as if he'd run across the path of a pack of street urchins from Baldur's Gate had run across him.
He then picks up the severed head opening up the eyes and mouth. While searching the body he keeps an eye out for any other calamari-like influences.
// Investigation 10, if at advantage 13, plus guidance 4
The only possession on the man is the short rod that he was using to fight with.
// Although JC briefly described in chat that we was going to decapitate the spell caster, in the end he decided to only knock him out. //
The hairless man’s tongue does indeed have small suckers, the the tentacles of a squid or octopus. His skin is also smooth, and looks almost translucent—veins show through the pallid skin in many places quite prominently. The skin also glistens with wetness, as if just coming out of the water after a swim. His eyes are still closed—Crownsguard’s knockout blow must have been a powerful one!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Don sighs and runs ahead, "Marav how did you get in with such goodie goodies." He looks at Flint, "You know it would be so much easier if you just weren't so... nice." Don points his hands and twin bolts of eldritch energy slam toward the fleeing water elemental. Edgar flies over and helps out with a flyby.
