*OOC: I think I'm set on damage. I failed the save at post 326 (thought about bundling it with my action, but I just rolled when DM posted the check because my memory has been a bit foggy this week). So I've taken in reverse chronology 11 points bug damage on failed save, 8 points bug damage on first round in bug cloud with successful save, and 11 points gnoll claw damage. So I'm at 22, and hoping we take a short rest soon, but have healing magic handy if we press on.
Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
OOC: Toots also has healing magic. (Mostly the pick-up spells though, Goodberry and Healing Word.) But among all of us we shouldn’t be short on healing magic.
OOC: Posting my turn early to keep things moving.
*Toots will move her 25,’ then dash another 25’ into the cave but not directly towards the tunnel, more to the middle of the cave so she doesn’t block up anyone else’s movement.She then directs her attention towards her kinswoman. With a little ra-ra from her lute she cheers:

I haven't forgotten about Bardic inspiration; I will decide about rolling it as soon as I post this and see the rolls, so check my next post for that info. (If there's a better way to do this, let me know)

EVERYBODY make DC 12 Dex save vs 24 piercing spell damage! Half damage if you make your save.
Math +4 to your save if you are Elyona or within 10 feet of her.
Half the damage whether you made your save or not if you are Elyona or within 10 feet of her.
Translation +4 to your save. If you fail, halve the damage. If you pass, halve the damage again.
Sadly, Hawksley is too far to benefit from the protective aura.
