Tommary uses his cunning action to disengage from the Gnoll priest, backing up until he's next to the SE pillar. As he's backing away he has his saber extended, looking like he's drawing on or saluting the Gnoll. What he's actually doing is pointing his spell focus over the orange circle alter/hole thing and casting that as the center of shatter. Home to get some breakage into the Gnoll and its fancy idol, and heck, the altar too.
CON save 13. On fail damage 13 thunder damage, success half damage. Creatures as well as inanimate material objects in 10' radius of focal point are susceptible to spell.
Tommary then uses his regular move to obtain 3/4 cover behind pillar relative to the priest (presuming that's allowed).
OOC: Hawksley, So Rogues have a feature called cunning action which lets them dash, disengage, or hide as bonus actions. Normally those sorts of maneuvers are dedicated movement actions meaning most PCs can only do those moves as their main action. With me disengaging (which is basically withdrawing in a way that doesn't provoke an opportunity attack from the priest) as a bonus action I can then use my action to cast a spell. I could have attacked and then disengaged, but I thought this looked cooler and I wanted to be out of the way. I think having interrupted my disengage with an action, I don't know if any further movement can be done as disengaging, but I'm now asking the DM if I can obtain 3/4 cover behind the pillar as part of regular movement (I don't know if this is movement or "hiding", so I'm asking, but my main goals for my move have been done). I also have a subclass feature called skirmisher, which gives me a reaction move of 15' if an enemy ends their turn within 5' of me. I may use that if the last gnoll standing outside moves in on me, but will defer to DM's guidance on that.

OOC: You did not break the gnoll priest's concentration so the cloud of biting flies is still there. If you stay in the cloud you will have to make another save against the damage.
Anybody entering the cloud for the first time or ending their turn must make a save.

OOC: Yes, you put cracks into the statue and the floor. The last two boxes were too far away to suffer ill effects. You also note that the doorway to the north looks to be rough or unfinished work leading to a dark passage

*Toots stands there a moment unsure what to do, but then she has an idea! If she can get wide right and stay just outside of the swarm she should still be able to get a good bead on whatever it is in that cave that Tomary’s fighting... or at least whoever summoned those gross, icky bugs. But first to help deal with big, dumb and ugly ahead, and she better do it quickly if she wants to help her friends. Moving up but making sure to keep the much, much better armored cleric between herself and her foul smelling she target, she shakes her lute at it and calls out.*
“Hey, butt sniffer!
“If you died in different ways morning, noon, and night for days, after a week, then two, then three how many dyings would that be?”
*Invisible to all, a hint of distraction embeds itself into the Gnoll’s mind and soul, the first sign of the hex Toots words had placed on the cretin. Closing her eyes, Toots plays a few chords of a dirge and the song forms another chill touch deathly hand as the notes reach their target.*
Attack: 20 Damage: 11
OOC: I studied the map and counted spaces and if the map were bigger this should work. Toots runs off the map around the melee to avoid any potential OA, and stays just outside of the swarm she should be able to get LoS writhing 60’ [12 hexes] of the Gnoll Priest. Toots doesn’t know what’s in there, but going wide to avoid the swarm and still look into the room I think would make sense. So she will move her 25’ diagonal to the S/W (which should put her behind Oethe) to start getting into position for next turn. Then she cast Hex on the Gnoll, choosing Wisdom for the disadvantage, and follows it up with another Chill Touch.
The combination of Sword and Arrow take a gnoll down!
The other gnoll angrily retaliates against Elyona
Attack: 23 Damage: 5
The whip impacts her armor giving her a tiny bruise.
** Elyona doesn't have an axe ha! But warhammer and long sword is same same damage.
