 Elyona jumps in surprise, and says out loud "What's a good idea?" Not waiting for the (talking?) sword to answer, she runs partway through the swarm of bugs, then says "Esprit de la brume, m'aide". EchoIon:  If it helps, here's a breakdown of Elyona's turn this round:  Elyona used her "free" 25 movement and then cast Misty Step.  The spell "Misty Step" is a bonus action, and lets her teleport 30 feet.  She could have used the Dash action to get to essentially the same location, but then she could not have attacked this round.  (Because Dash and Attack are both actions, and you only get one action per turn).  Then she attacked.  She, like Hawksley, gets to attack twice when she uses the attack action.  BTW, if these breakdowns/explanations aren't helpful, or if you find them annoying, please say so. In this format it's hard to gauge people's responses.  I want you to enjoy the game, not be annoyed by your fellow players. 

OOC:  So, two things about my post above:  1) I mistyped my con save bonus; should have been +6 instead of +5, which would make the roll a 12, not an 11. (I'm so glad it breaks down the roll for all to see).  2) my son reminded me that Elyona's aura of warding gives her resistance from spell damage.  So the question is:  is this spell damage? If so, that cuts Elyona's damage in half again.  And, if so and if you decide we should retcon it, then it halves the damage both she and Oethe took last round.  (No objections from me if you choose not to retcon last round; I should have realized it and asked then.  I got lucky this morning that my son was around and I was telling him about our combat.)

EDITED TO ADD:  So, I'll hold off on updating HP until I know.

Elyona vanishes and reappears in front of the priest startling him. She wacks at the gnoll twice but fails to cause any injury.

There is noticeable heat coming from the lava hole, the priest looks at Elyona, then the hole and tries to grab her!

Tommary the bug-bitten emerges from the fly cloud next to the first clear pillar, his saber extended.  Through his spell focus he projects murmurs that carve dissonant whispers into the mind of the gnoll priest, exposing the futile folly of its existence and the sheer vanity of its efforts to gain power.  

WIS save 13.  On fail, priest takes 5 psychic damage and must use its reaction to make as much safe space between us as possible.  On success, half damage, no running away.
