Right now I am writing my campaign in a series of Google Drive (docs) files. I often link to monster stat blocks and the like to dnd beyond so it is easy to just click the monster and have the stat block pull up.
I wish there was a google drive DNDbeyond extension that would allow the tooltips to work in a google drive file, such as making 3d6 points of falling damage rollable, or just hovering over the monster's name allowing its stats to display...
Does anyone have a good way of doing these kinds of things?
Obsidian.md, its a application for PC and phones and all the data you enter is yours. You can hover over a link and see the data without clicking. Join the discord channel for them and jump into the TRPG for all the stuff people are putting together and for SRD you can downloads. With an addon you can also roll attacks and damage and random tables.
Maybe it is not the most efficient means but I use Excel and Word documents plus the DDB Encounter Builder for my campaigns. I know some people use OneNote for their campaigns and there are a few templates out there for organizing your notes.
Yeah, purely google docs/sheets for me. I know there are better solutions out there - I've heard good things about World Anvil and went so far as to create an account a while back - but right now the ease of access and file sharing is good enough that I don't really want to spend the time figuring out a new system.
I splurged on WorldAnvil actually, and as someone who's more used to a simple lined notebook and a sketchbook, it's a big learning curve, but rewarding. In fact I'm porting some of my other writing over to it as well as some other projects as it's sort of a poor person's i2 Analyst's Notebook if you're familiar with that software, or rather if you know i2 you can do some robusts things with World Anvil that even World Anvil may not be aware of.
That said, anything you can do with WorldAnvil I think you can ultimately do with OneNote, GoogleDocs and Sheets, or a a simple three ring binder and a lot of paper. WorldAnvil just has some neater aesthetics and does some things automatically for you (like keyword linking).

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
You forgot to mention that obsidian.md is totally free - unless you want the sharing/publishing features.
