After seeing this video, I wanted to go deeper into discussing a Marvel/D&D game. I have some opinions about the character classes they recommended for some Marvel characters, as well as some of my own.
I can see how Thor's personality suits the barbarian class, but his abilities do not correspond correctly. A barbarian is a primitive warrior whose abilities are primarily focused on rage and survival in the wilderness, while Thor is of godly lineage sent to earth to protect the people of Midgard. I think that the paladin class suits Thor better, focusing on divine magic and chivalry. If I were to build a Thor character, I would make a Paladin (Oath of Devotion)/Barbarian (Path of the Storm Herald) multiclasser. Or possibly he could be a Fighter (eldritch knight) so he could call his hammer back to him.
Scarlet Witch is surely a sorceress, wielding out of control psychic magic. But the wild magic sorcerous origin doesn't fit her as well as it might seem. On the wild magic table, it has things like growing a beard of feathers or turning into a potted plant. If I were to make a Scarlet Witch character, I would choose the wild magic sorcerous origin, but modifying the wild magic table to better fit Scarlet Witch's mind-themed powers. There should probably be a psychic sorcerous origin, focusing on the mind, maybe in UA or a similar source. Also, the sorcerer spell list doesn't have as many telekinesis and mind-control spells as desired, requiring you to be at least 9th-level before you can even move one object with your mind before finishing a long rest, let alone telekinetically manipulating objects and creatures at will. Scarlet Witch fits the spy background (criminal variant).
The magical abilities of a paladin just don't fit with Captain America. Captain America is a soldier, using unarmed martial fighting techniques. His personality fits the class, but the class doesn't fit him. If I were to make a Captain America character, he'd be a Fighter (Battlemaster) and have the soldier background.
Hawkeye is totally a rogue, using sneaking based abilities. But one problem: rogues aren't proficient with Hawkeye's signature weapon, the longbow. To make a Hawkeye character, he would be a Fighter (Arcane Archer)/Rogue (Thief) with the entertainer background.
Black Widow is also a rogue, using stealth and infiltration. Utilizing in electrical weapons, Black Widow's weapon attacks could deal extra lightning damage. Her subclass would be the assassin archetype for the rogue.
Hulk would fit the barbarian class for sure, but multiclassing into the artificer class from UA because Bruce Banner, of course, is a scientist. Several modifications would be required to add "hulking" game mechanics. If I were to make a Hulk character, he would be an Artificer (Unsure of subclass)/Barbarian (Path of the Berserker). Bruce, being a scientist, doesn't really fit many backgrounds. A modified version of the sage background would fit him, focusing it on science rather than magic.
Iron Man is an artificer for sure, but he requires some more offensive unarmed attacks. When generating ability scores, give him a decently high strength score. His armor would be identical to plate, but adding repulsers and the unforgettable uni-beam. Consider lowering the AC to make him less overpowered. Making an Iron Man character, he would be an Artificer (Unsure of subclass)/Fighter (Battlemaster) with the guild artisan background.
Iron Fist is most surely a monk. With supernatural unarmed attacks and high agility, not forgetting a super-powered punch, he totally fits the class. He most well fits the Way of the Four Elements archetype for the monk.
Ant-Man is 100% a rogue, with some artificer levels as well. Shrinking has no effect on his statistics except for changing his size to tiny and maybe giving him advantage on Dexterity (stealth) checks made to hide. Giant-Man requires a bit more tweaking, such as increasing his Strength score and hit point maximum, changing his size to huge or gargantuan. I would make Ant-Man an Artificer (Unsure of subclass)/Rogue (Thief) with the criminal background.
Let's not forget Deadpool. He's totally a psychotic rogue with a healing factor. For healing factor mechanics, Deadpool could regain hit points equal to his level each turn. When he dies, he regains 1 hit point after 10 hours. But to create his sense of madness, a form of indefinite madness (see the DMG) should replace normal flaws (the flaw: "I discovered I really enjoy killing people." one works the best). Deadpool would be a Fighter (Battlemaster)/Rogue (Swashbuckler) with the criminal background.
Doctor Strange is a professional practitioner of the mystic arts, making him one of the best options for a player wanting to play as a wizard. Making a Dr. Srange character makes him a UA Mystic (Order of the Awakened)/Wizard (Conjuration) with the noble background.
Any other ideas? I would like to see all you're Marvel character builds on this thread. Even some villain character builds!
Devious serpent folk devoid of compassion, yuan-ti manipulate other creatures by arousing their doubts, evoking their fears, and elevating and crushing their hopes. From remote temples in jungles, swamps, and deserts, the yuan-ti plot to supplant and dominate all other races and to make themselves gods.
There's an Iron Man build here that more-or-less has him as a reskinned EK fighter. I'd definitely add artificer levels.
Hawkeye needs fighter (Arcane Archer) levels, artificer levels, and a rather absurd number of archery-boosting feats, epic boons, etc.
I just realized that Hawkeye's a pretty good example of a completely 100% min/maxed character. He does archery better than anyone in the world, and that's pretty much all he does.
For Thor, go for the Path of the Storm Herald instead of the Path of the Berserker. Maybe add Tempest cleric levels.
Rather a lot of homebrew may be necessary to get the feel right.

I'm curious about your background choices. I have never read the comics, but greatly enjoyed the movies, you may know more than I. Why would Scarlet Witch have the spy background? I see folk hero, but not spy. And Hawkeye has the entertainer background?
Black Widow would probably be an assassin not a thief. Ant-man can clearly cast Enlarge/Reduce at will and Bruce Banner is an alchemist through and through.

What about Black Panther? I could see him as a Monk (Order of Shadow)/Rogue (Thief) with the noble background.
I also thought of some builds for the Guardians of the Galaxy. Drax would obviously be a Barbarian (Path of the Berserker) with the outlander Background. No need to invent a race for Drax, a Half-Orc or Goliath set of racial traits is close enough for him. Gamora is obviously a Fighter (Battlemaster). Star Lord is a Rogue (Thief)/Fighter (Eldritch Knight), linking all his spells to his element blaster. He would have the criminal background. Rocket Raccoon would be a Rogue (Thief)/Artificer (Gunsmith).
I also have one villainous character build for Taskmaster. He would be a Fighter (Battlemaster)/Rogue (Assassin) with the criminal background.

Edit: Everyone also took one level of monk
Scarlet Which (and Quicksilver) was originally part of Megneto’s Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.
Iron Fist would be a Way of the Open Hand monk not a Way of the Four Elements at all. He does no "Air Bending" or elemental abilities. He does however stun things and knock them around with his Ki like an Open Hand monk.

I say that Halkeye should have the subclass Arcane archer
