The party takes the western most passage, peeking down side tunnels as they go (to save time exploring every dead end passage) soon the passage widens out into a small cavern.
A still pool fills much of this cavern. The water is dark, revealing little of what might lie within. The shore of the pool consists of a thin layer of broken shells from strange, pale mussels, and a fishy odor hangs in the air.
The farther into this mine you move the louder the sound of crashing waves gets.
The pool of water in this room remains still as you move through the room. Looking up the stairs you can see another tunnel heading north/south, there is a door directly to the east.
Moving forward Tibern gets a view of the tunnel, to the south he sees another dead end, to the North he sees another set of stairs and yet another tunnel. Listening at the door Tibern is unsure if he hears something on the other side or if was simply the wave sounds reverberating through the tunnels.
Silas can hear gruff voices speaking in the goblin language. The speakers do not sound like goblins, these voices are deeper. He doesn't understand the language but he can tell that there are 3 or more voices. They do not sound as though they have been alerted to your presence.
Vandar follows the others' lead and keeps to the wall and away from the water as they move past the pool, keeping his yklwa ready to attack if any foes appear as they move through the corridors.
Silas will cast bless on the party again since it wore off. Add d4 to attack or saving throws. "We probably cant sneak around those voices" and will then wield his short sword and his staff.
"That may be true. If we must confront them it is possible that we could so without the need for combat. Althougn ao far that has not happened much since our journey began." Tibern says with a bit of a shrug.

What would you like to do?
Tibern is going to hang back, stepping close to the others. "Does anyone else get the feeling something strange is here?"
Silas will not go near that water. He will move along the east wall almost to the stairs.
Lothar leads the way keeping his back against the eastern wall and approaching the stairs. The water making him uneasy as well.

Tibern will move closer to the door, holding up a hand as he moves to listen against it.

Silas will cast guidance on himself and see if he can hear anything after putting his ear to the door. Perception 15 guidance 1
Silas can hear gruff voices speaking in the goblin language. The speakers do not sound like goblins, these voices are deeper. He doesn't understand the language but he can tell that there are 3 or more voices. They do not sound as though they have been alerted to your presence.
Tibern will draw his rapier and step to the side of the door incase something is going to come out of it soon.
Vandar follows the others' lead and keeps to the wall and away from the water as they move past the pool, keeping his yklwa ready to attack if any foes appear as they move through the corridors.
Who or whatever is beyond the door seems to be staying put for now.
"Maybe we leave them alone for the moment and try to find another way." Nodding to the passage to the north.
Lothar heard the report and nodded. He led them towards the northern passage away from the eastern door.
Vandar nods and follows.
Tibern steps away from the door and begins to follow after the rest.
As you move closer you can hear, between the crashing wave sounds, muffled voices and a noise like shifting stones coming from the cavern to the east.
"Ok, let's come back to that after making sure that our rear is clear." Lothar said to the others. He then proceeded down the western passage.
Silas will cast bless on the party again since it wore off. Add d4 to attack or saving throws. "We probably cant sneak around those voices" and will then wield his short sword and his staff.
