The weretiger's trail isn't hard to follow: heavy pawprints and drops of crimson in the snow point clearly towards your destination.

After an hour of walking, you find a cluster of dilapidated log cabins, most of which look like they've been abandoned for decades. One cabin seems to be in slightly better shape than the others, and as you approach it, you hear the sound of squabbling voices.

Aeron, it sounds like three goblins arguing about what to do with a prisoner they found and tied up. One of them is arguing that they should kill the prisoner now, while the other two insist they wait for "Chewy" to come back.

"You know Chewy is just going have us kill him anyway - hey, what was that? Shut up for a second. Listen."

It seems something has alerted the goblins to your presence, but they haven't seen you yet.

You hear the sound of snow crunching underfoot, and two goblins come around the corner of one of the cabins ten feet away.

"Hey, buzz off! We got here first!" one of them says, shaking a scimitar at you. "Go find your own treasure."

The other one draws a shortbow and squints at the party, as if trying to determine who poses the biggest threat.

Seemingly irritated at the goblins, Whistler quickly and silently drew two daggers and hurled them, one at each of the creatures.

You'll have to pick between spirit guardians and sanctuary (can't cast two spells in one turn unless one of them is a cantrip). Let me know which one you're picking, and if it's spirit guardians, roll damage, and remind me what your spell save DC is.

From inside one of the cabins, you hear a strange rustling and clicking, accompanied by the groaning of wood. An instant later, the cabin's door flies off its rusted hinges, and a terrifying creature emerges. It has enormous, serrated pincers, like some kind of nightmarish lobster, and it's covered in chitinous spikes. Instead of a mouth, it has a writhing cluster of tentacles.

"Help us, Chewy!" croaks the goblin with the dagger wound.

The creature cocks its segmented head to the side like a curious dog, and then lunges for Revelry and Whistler.

Pincer #1 @ Revelry, Attack: 19 Damage: 11 bludgeoning

Pincer #2 @ Whistler, Attack: 24 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. bludgeoning

If the attack hits, you're grappled, and can use an action on your turn to escape (Acrobatics or Athletics, DC 14)

The aberrant crustacean makes a frustrated hiss as both Whistler and Revelry duck its flailing attack. It takes a defensive position in front of the goblins, right in front of Aeron, and ten feet from the rest of the party.
