Rel looks down, mouth tight, dearly wanting to help. She considers options.
She could try to descend herself, but she had said she would be last to give everyone else Guidance on he way down. She considers using Shape Water to gentle the flow of the whirlpool, but not know what is below, decides that might make things worse. She curses herself for never mastering the Message cantrip. Finally, she mutters reluctantly to Tex, Bellamy and Jarsali:
"All right. We wait. No more than half a minute, I say, or until we feel a pull on the rope of course, or a sending. Let us decide now who goes next."
Sensing that Lana has used her Guidance, she casts it on herself and glances around to see if the group appears to have attracted any watchers.
Lana climbed closer to the voice and tried to explain as briefly (and quietly) as she could: "It was my mistake to jump after you. All is fine up there. And yes, I added some rope to yours. We need to send the message."
If it is possible to activate the stone while dangling on the rope (or when both she and Zane reach the bottom), she will do so and give it to Zane, so he can send the message to Jarsali to explain the situation.
As the rope nears closer to the ground, you spot a large rock below that would be suitable to hide behind and swing towards it right before reaching the ground. An audible thud can be heard as Zane hits the side of the hard stone surface and Lanalands safely next to him, covering his mouth with her hand to prevent him from making any more noise from the pain of the impact.
Lanapeers over the rock and can see that the guards have not reacted to the sound of the collision.
Zane whispers, "What should we tell them? It's too risky to have everyone come down right now. I'm still invisible - I can try to draw the guards away so that the others can come down and you can ambush them as they return. What do you think?"
"Maybe say we are not alone here, then how many guards are here," Lana carefully looked around counting guards, "and their position? Most importantly, warn to stay quiet. Not sure bringing turtle right now is an option."
Zane nods, to himself, as he's invisible, and says, "Yes, do that. The boss woman was here as well when I came down and then left in that direction," as he points (east?).
He continues, "I will go and draw them away while invisible. Help others get down, and then we can clear them all out."
Was there an exit on the lower level as well? Towards the west? If so then Zane will climb down a pillar to the lower level and go down the western exit, then pull out his rapier and let it clink against the stones. He will keep an eye on the reactions of the guards.
(The only exit on the western side is the stairway at the northwest that you used to enter the area the day prior. I will use that path for now for your plan unless you say otherwise)
Zane, you head up the northwestern stairs, tapping your sword along the stone steps as you get closer to the top. The two guards at the east turn to look. They turn to each other and nod as they begin to walk. They each take a few steps forward before one lifts his left arm to the side and a blue glow begins to form before a spectral blade appears in his hand. The other does the same. They continue to walk towards the sounds of Zane tapping the rocks. They pause just past where Lana is hidden.
(Zane, are you standing in the open or hiding behind something)
The two guards continue on, not noticing Lanahidden behind the rock, towards the clanking sound. Continuing up the stairs and passed the invisible Zane, they walk off into the tunnel.
(Sorry Zane, I keep forgetting you are invisible)
The rest of the party receives the signal from Lana. Jarsalisignals to the Zhelezo to dive in and move down into the cavern. She waits for them to enter before entering herself.
If you wish to enter stealthily, please roll as such, it will be group check. I will roll once for Jarsali and once for the five Zhelezo
(Rel is going last, attempting to provide Guidance to each person, PC or NPC as they descend, ending with herself, unless something disrupts the plan.)
With the Zhelezo being as stealthy as they are kicking rocks down the hole and splashing water all around, Tex feels that he can do a better job even with Lizzy going down and tries to bring her along unless someone at the surface objects. He lowers her steadily through the water hole and then follows along. Stealth (Tex and Lizzy, respectively: 19+3+2 / 20+4+1)
(Sorry, I’m traveling and didn’t expect to have such bad internet connection and so little time to post, tomorrow I’ll arrive at the destination and will hopefully be able to post regular again for 10 days, then on the return way it will probably be challenging again)
Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
(Jarsaliand the Zhelezo add a guidance roll to there stealth checks. Jarsali 24 total and the Zhelezo group 7 total.)
Rel, you are the last to descend the waterfall. Please roll your stealth check. Depending on how you roll will determine what happens next. No pressure
As the rest of the party comes rushing down the vortex and grabbing hold of the rope. The Zhelezo, and Bellamy, are extremely noisy as they descend. Causing the two guards who had followed the tunnel to the northwesst to turn and run back. The two guards to the south turn to see what is happening, watching the clumsy Zhelezo stumble down the rope in their uncomfortable uniforms.
They all rush towards you as you descend the ropes. All with spectral blades now blazing from their arms.
(For purpose of ease, the Zhelezo will share initiative, they are the crossed sword symbol. Jarsaliis the in front of them. The guards will also share initiative)

Zane calms his breathing. (second stealth roll was lower, so 13 total)
He whispers up to Lana, "What happened, why are you here? Do you have more rope?"
(one last question - is Zane at the very end of the rope?)
Lana climbed closer to the voice and tried to explain as briefly (and quietly) as she could: "It was my mistake to jump after you. All is fine up there. And yes, I added some rope to yours. We need to send the message."

Bellamy is relieved to hear from Lana and patiently waits for the signal. "I am glad they are still intact and with a plan."
As soon as the guards show an indication that they heard Zane and follow the sound, Lana will give a sign to others to come down. (Carefully)

Zane will step to the side and crouch down, being very very still and quiet. (Assuming he's still invisible)
He hopes the two guards will go and investigate the tunnel, giving at least a few others a few moments to come down.
Should the guards actually enter the tunnel then Zane will follow them for a bit, about 50 feet behind.
(The signal is given and the rest of the party can descent (without a turtle for the moment?))
