This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?

Berry reports that he doesn't see any openings in the wall from where the goblins could throw down stones or rain down arrows. He looks for a place on a branch a bit lower that offers shadow to better hide him from anyone who would approach the hideout from the path. He keeps a lookout for approaching goblins that might return and begins to care for his wounds.
Daphyra responds to Kiselina. "I cannot heal others properly until I rest properly, unfortunately. I need to take time to pray to the Goddess. Until then, I can only stabilise those who are badly wounded, not heal them."
Daphyra spends her action this round watching and listening for the other goblins.
(does Daphyra hear them shoot their arrows? I'm guessing not with a Perception roll of 7!)

Kiselina finished giving the goblin last rights and was just settling down for a rest. He knew half the group wasn’t injured, but also knew the front line was hurting badly.
That’s when he heard Marten’s call to arms. He was just getting up when Nosam’s warning comes across. It’s only at that point that he realizes the dwarf is still in the cavern. With that he drops the halberd and readies his shield as he dashes back into the cavern. Seeking cover at the back of the kennel until he can ready his javelins.
Kiselina...drops the halberd and readies his shield as he dashes back into the cavern.
Marten is surprised, but since Kiselina doesn't say anything, Marten assumes that the dragonborn must be charging back into the cave to bring Nosam back out. Since he was already hiding and was able to see the goblins from his current spot among the briars, he nocks a goblin arrow, draws his bow, and prepares to attack any goblins who show up in the tunnel.
Movement: None. Remain in hiding at M16 this round. (Since he's staying put, does Marten keep the same Stealth17 from before?) Action: ready to attack the second goblin that he sees in the cave, either around "G8?" or at N9 / N10 (Marten figures that Vidruth and Daph will handle the first goblin that they see.) Reaction: if the readied action triggers, Attack, Shortbow (80/320): 22 Damage: 11 (I assumed advantage if Marten was not seen. Otherwise, just use the first of the two d20s.) Free Action: None
Reaction: if the readied action triggers, Attack, Shortbow (80/320): 25 Damage: 14 (I assumed advantage if Marten was not seen. Otherwise, just use the first of the two d20s.)
In case Marten did not have advantage sneak attack damage for that attack, and the forum isn't showing the individual rolls for the damage dice, here's a separate roll for critical damage without sneak attack: 15.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Round 8 Reaction
Vidruth’s Firebolt (reaction R8), flashes harmlessly against the cave wall, missing the goblin.
Round 9 Results
Berry continues to short rest (round 2/60)
Daphyra watches and listens
Vidruth readies another Firebolt
Kiselina dashes to R14, shield equipped.
Marten remains in hiding at M16 this round, ready to attack the second goblin that he sees in the cave, either around "G8?" or at N9 / N10.
Nosam (bot: @cyreon: go to Vidruth's spot for the half cover and either dodge or reduce his target area (i.e. go prone). Nosam moves to N15 and dodges.
Enemies & Reactions
A Goblin moves to “G8?” with its bow readied to fire at where Nosam had been standing. (Once again, it gains +5AC due to 3/4 cover.)
Vidruth’s readied spell attack goes off, and the half-orc sends a bolt of flame whooshing toward the goblin. But once again, the arcane energy flashes against the cavern wall, charring it and singing the hairs on the goblin’s toes but doing no damage.
The goblin returns fire at Vidruth and retreats. 7 to hit / 7 piercing damage. [N.B. Vidruth enjoys 3/4 cover, so add +5 to your AC against this attack.]
No more enemies show themselves this round. (Marten’s reaction, unfortunately given those good rolls, is not triggered. One of the bummers of asynchronous play.)
You are now situated like so:
Please post actions for Round 10. No enemies are currently visible.
(OOC: After post #347, I thought that Daphyra's round 9 action had changed to what valeskah posted in #350.
One of the reasons that I had Marten ready his attack for the second goblin was that I thought that both Vidruth and Daph were poised at N14 and L14, respectively, to attack the first goblin who showed its face. If Marten had seen that only Vidruth was in position to make a ranged attack, I would have had Marten attack the first goblin he saw.)
No more enemies show themselves this round. (Marten’s reaction, unfortunately given those good rolls, is not triggered. One of the bummers of asynchronous play.)
(OOC: Heh. Yeah, you roll the dice in more ways than one with a readied action! It weirdly hurts more in async play since you pre-roll the attack that never happened: that critical hit with 14+ damage...didn't trigger. 😖)
(OOC: @Ben is correct: I overlooked @Valeskah’s revised post. Here is a corrected map:
As we can see from it, Daphyra does not have line of sight to the goblin when it appears, so her readied action is not triggered.
Let’s look at how this works. You can, during your turn, start behind full cover, move less than your full move (15’, say), make a ranged attack at a target in line of sight, then move back behind full cover up to the rest of your movement (your remaining 15’, say). Contrastingly, for a readied ranged attack to be triggered, you must be in line of sight of the trigger (e.g., an enemy appearing at a particular spot on the map) at the end of your turn, or the trigger will not occur.)
"How are things?" Berry cries from his tree and lowers to half the height. "I don't think, they'll let us rest here. Is there no way to block the entrance and lock them up for an hour to buy us time?" Not knowing how better to help his companions he keeps a lookout and continues to care for his wounds.
Move: lower to 25 feet height Action: rest and watch/listen/sniff around, Perception: 12 Free: talk
Kiselina moved to provide back-up to Nosam. As he turned to get into position with shield raised however, he watches in bewilderment as the dwarf moves to exit the cave. “Alright then”, he thinks to himself, “let’s see if they come to see where the dwarf went. Best be ready to launch a javelin and seek whatever cover I can find. Perhaps behind that stalagmite?”
(Free Action) Draw a javelin (Action) Ready Attack (Move) Ready Move (Bonus) n/a (Reaction) Attack target entering M10 or N11, then move to Q11 (To hit: 18, Damage: 7)
Marten is about to relax his bow when he sees Nosam, expecting that the party may be about to reposition or even move farther from the goblins' cave. But when Kiselina does not follow Nosam out of the cave, Marten realizes that burly dragonborn will be a clear target for the goblin archers, back-lit by the light as he tries to leave the cave. Marten resolves to discourage the goblins from attacking the paladin or at least to make them pay for it. He decides to stay hidden and refocuses on the spot where he last saw the goblin archers. He takes a deep breath, maintains his draw, and exhales slowly as he prepares to release an arrow.
Movement: None. Still remaining hidden at M16 this round. (Using the Stealth17 from when he first hid.) Action: ready to attack the first goblin that he sees in the cave. Reaction: as discussed, reusing the rolls from last round:
vidruth is visibly irritated, he hates small group combat, its stupid. a proper raiding party could tear this cave apart in a few minutes. and the goblins are hiding, taking potshots, regular goblin things, its infuriating, and the dream has been bugging him all day.

Round 10 Results
Berry moves lower but sees nothing new from that vantage point.
Kiselina readies to throw his javelin. (OOC: Movement cannot be part of a readied action. You may only move during your turn, not during your reaction.)
Marten, Vidruth and Daphyra all hold actions while Nosam maintains a defensive posture.
Enemies
It’s almost as if Marten can see through the rock of the hillside and read the intentions of the goblins in the tunnel at L8. ‘Wait, wait… Now! look, stealthily!’
When a single goblin crouching low to the ground, peeks around the edge of the cave wall, Marten’s arrow is already in flight. The exact moment that the goblin peers down the tunnel, a black-fletched arrow, FSSSP!!, plunges into the evil creature’s eye socket and throws it backwards to impale it to the far wall of the tunnel, instantly killing it. Vidruth’s firebolt whooshes at the creature, and Daphyra’s Toll the Dead rattle its soul as it turns down to the Hells below leaving a charred corpse pinned to a crack in the cavern wall and a deafened goblin soul wandering the void forever.
No other goblins appear this round, so no other held actions are triggered.
(Oops: Daphyra has moved to O11, and I forgot to indicate that in the map. Please keep it in mind when you post your next actions. Also, she would not have had line of sight to the goblin from that spot, but c'est la vie. I like that little bit of narrative so we'll say she somehow managed it. :)
