Tristan, following Titanus's example, slinks through the forest, looking for an archer to target. Finding one, he whispers some words to his blade, and cold steel cuts through armor as flame burns in the goblin's body. 

CON save: =2

(OOC: I'm assuming Thorne is firing at an archer?)

Thorne's arrow shoots towards Tristan, narrowly avoiding him as he jumps out of the way but also missing the hobgoblin, who dashes towards the other archers. 

Titanus, Karrius, and Ozymandias, who are still engaged in melee with the goblins, face almost no opposition. A cry rings out from the archers, and suddenly, the hobgoblin party is there, disengaging from combat before retreating towards their allies. 

(OOC: They took the Disengage action, then retreated at full movement speed just for note)

(OOC: Ozymandias/Karrius's turn - you both are still standing there watching the hobgoblins retreat towards their fellows)

Ozymandias casts Vicious Mockery for 6 damage.

OOC: I'm assuming they're still within 60 feet?

(OOC: Yep - and you can tell where the goblins are because of Tristan's spell)

The poor hobgoblin archer, tormented by the party, finally drops to the ground as Ozymandias shouts insults at him. Even Thorne and Tristan can hear him, in the trees and thirty feet away.

The other archers, noting Tristan and Thorne, disengage from combat as the remaining four fighters cover their retreat, the archers firing at the paladin and the ranger as they back away. "Help!" one shouts, looking for reinforcements, but none seem to be coming.

You see a hobgoblin become suddenly entangled in vines and thorns, not strong enough to hold it down but enough to delay its flee, as Karrius raises his arms in an eldritch gesture. Drawing his bow, he shoots, but misses to the left.

If that hits, then Titanus will also try to decapitate the next nearest hobgoblin with cleave.

A hobgoblin goes down with a swing of the great-greataxe as Titanus wildly charges at them. However, swinging again, you all see a hobgoblin dexterously dive out of the way as his greataxe implants itself in a large pine tree. 

(OOC: I believe that brings it down to 3 hobgoblin fighters, 3 hobgoblin archers)

The hobgoblins manage to dart out of sight in the dense trees, and you stand there silently. All of you have the same thoughts in your mind - "Why are all of you here?"

“You guys really like to charge first and hope you don’t die, don’t you?”
